Monologue From 'Inspired By Believer' By Imagine Dragons
Independance
Inspired by “Believer” by Imagine Dragons
Taylor looks like a regular 16 year old girl, but her life is everything but normal. All she knows is pain, heartbreak, grief, and has never experienced anything truly joyful. I guess you could blame her mom, Monica, who has had about 9 husbands and many kids she doesn’t even know about. Her dad was no help either, seeing how he left Taylor when she was almost 5 years old. The only safe house that she could go was her best friend, Bo’s house. Bo always new how to get her mind off things but he had one problem, he was full of pride. This meant that they never could talk at school, because even though Taylor was extremely beautiful, she was shy. Bo usually is found hanging around his friends, laughing about something stupid. Nearby Taylor is listening to music with her headphones on. It might sound like it but she is not a complete loner, her two best friends, Macy and Kim, are usually hanging with their boyfriends, to sucked into how cool they are to pay any attention to her. So, she sits their trapped in her own sadness, with only a few things to bring her up.

She ran inside crying, but wanted to cry even more after seeing he was with a group of friends. She gave him a hurt look, and ran out, not knowing where to go. Bo tried to stop her, but she was already gone. This isn’t the only time Bo has done this. Somedays Taylor feels like she has no one, no one that truly cares about her. Don’t get me wrong there are some days that Bo is there for her, but it isn’t like how it was when they were younger before Bo found his group. When they were younger he would always try his hardest to help her. He would pull out the old golf cart and take her out to ice cream. As silly as it was Taylor loved it. Those were the days she was happiest, but its been almost 3 years since

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

She plays a "mother bear" kind of role in the story she will go to any means to protect her daughter, and to keep Turtle with her. All Taylor's actions are encouraged by this conviction. Jax says at one point that Taylor "enjoys" him, but she "loves" Turtle. Indeed, Taylor instinctually reacts in terms of Turtle, and not in terms of Jax. On her dates in Seattle, she does not even consider leaving Turtle at home. She is a rigid and determined mother.…

Jake Frey. A name that carries weight, and fame. Though, the person fortunate, or unfortunate enough to own this name, knows what kind of fame he has. I know what it is I’m famous for. I’m a survivor and a victim, but of course, to some I am a monster. What happened to me all those years ago was not in my control. It’s not my fault that man had decided to come to my school, shoot many of my friends, and even myself. I was only hit in the lower left portion of my back, but playing dead saved me. He had watched as I tried to escape with my girlfriend Lucy, and my best friend Ezekiel, and my sister Raven.…

Silence entered the air after I stepped out of my apartment complex. Slamming the door hard, I walked out of the building and started strutting down the sidewalk into town. Several arguments left the air after I stepped out into the cold, frosty morning of November in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My parents have been arguing for months now, and I can’t take it. I mean, they’re good parents and have given me a nice place and all, but they always are getting drunk and argue all the time. I’ve tried to leave home multiple times but I always end up winding back. I poked at my shaggy, greased blonde hair. I’m a labeled greaser and belong to Tim Shepard’s gang. I mean they’re fun and all, but sometimes I can’t stand them. They watch out for me, we’re buddies, but they’re always drunk and wound up in fights all the time. It’s just like at home, but with the gang I feel more like they’re not gonna leave me.…

My heart pounds like a drum as thousands of romans scream in delight as I slay yet another gladiator in these accursed games. It is not my wish to participate in this horrid ring of blood, pain and death, but I must, for I am Priscus, a Celt, born and raised on the outskirts of Cisalpini, and captured by roman soldiers in 55 B.C whilst protecting my country. I worked in a pit, mining stone for Rome’s grand new city. One day a man came to our hole, he was a recruiter for a ‘games’ of sorts. I wasn’t picked at first, but they had second thoughts after a madman decided to hit me in the face, outraged I threw him to the ground and returned the favour. After a few minutes of squabbling, we were pulled apart and…
