money isn't everything
"A large income is the best recipe for happiness I ever heard of."—Jane Austen When money isn’t a problem, it doesn’t seem important but, as soon as you need it you realize how important it is. In some ways I think this quote is a good one. However, when I think about it this quote might not be correct. There are a lot of different things that make me switch back and forth on this quote. In the story, the guy has money, once he gets his lands and pays his loans he just wants more. He was looking for more happiness through the land, and money. I think that this happens to a lot of people in the world. Such as when someone gets the car they’ve been wanting and then they fix it up and put all of the work and personalization into it. Then, when they want something new or better they sell it for a profit only to wish they still had the car two months later. Just because the person got more money for the car and they had extra money in their pocket, they were not necessarily happier once they got money. I know this personally because my entire family loves cars, they sell and buy them all the time and I always hear, ‘You know what car I still wish I had…’ However, some people will be in a financial crisis and be upset because they cannot do anything or because they can’t do some of the other things that some people can do or afford. When they come across something that gets them money whether it is a check, or selling something, they will feel relived thus, making them happier and stress-free. In these situations I think the quote is one-hundred percent correct. For people like me, who was born in a family with money problems, this quote is something I could live by. I’m not saying it’s the only recipe to happiness because family and friends do help with cheering me up as well. In the long-term I do think that this quote can be a pretty accurate one. Like I said family and friends do help to make me happier but, it’s easier to have money to do things with your

For centuries, mankind seeks to answer the question: Can money buy happiness? Therefore psychologists are exploring the relationship between wealth and happiness for decades. They came to the conclusion that money can make people happy if it involves moving from a state of extreme poverty into the middle class, but they do not have a noticeable impact in the future. It means that people feel glad and safe when they have enough of money to satisfy daily needs. It is important to understand, what really makes people happy besides the living routine. Jarod Kintz quotes “I think the key indicator for wealth is not good grades, work ethic, or IQ. I believe it is relationships. Ask yourself two questions: How many people do I know, and how much ransom money could I get for each one? ”I think it is safe to say happiness have many aspects. The real versions of well-being that plays out every day are the ones based upon an individual experience, perception and values.…

Life is all about being happy. Being yourself and having fun, but also being wise and smart person and making right decisions are good structures a person can have. A perfect example of somebody that relates to this quote is Oprah Winfery. Oprah not only is a wise human being, who loves to help people, but she also loves to have fun, let loose, and just forget about her life for a little and just be herself. Oprah is honestly an admiration. She is a strong women who is willing to help any person in need. She may have everything handed to her, but she had to work for what she has now. Not only does letting loose sometimes make you a happier person, but it can also make you a wiser person because the people that aren't happy in life, are always the miserable ones. My opinion on if money can buy happiness, is that it most certainly can. Plain and to the point if you have more money you can obtain more in the pursuit of happiness. The notion that it can’t is a poor man pacifier to comfort him on his financial situation. I would imagine that the stress level would be significantly lowered or not even applicable do to the financial success achievement. I consider the question to be a quibble because who in there right mind would not be considerably happier if there financial status was ameliorated.…

My original stance on the statement is disagreed. I choose this position because having friends is much more important than money. Money would not be there you when your boyfriend/girlfriend breaks up with you. And your crying your eyes out and need comfort. The only comfort money can give you is to be a tissue so you can blow your nose into it. Money wouldn’t laugh at your jokes or would do crazy things with you like friends would. Sometimes money makes people feel lonely and bitter. Why, when they have the money they could ever need. It’s because they don’t have good companions to enjoy it with.…
