While the number of people owning cats and dogs in Canada has grown about one to two per cent per year, in the past few years, the Canadian pet industry has presented an average growth of 3.6% per year for several years, considering food, supplies, and services. Considering that Momentaa offers high quality and unique product, the range of competitors is narrowed compared with low cost products. However, this industry is growing fast, driven by the “premiumization and humanization” of pets over the years, leading to pet owners to spend more on their pets, buying more high-end accessories, higher quality foods, and more expensive medical treatments. ,
