How can the alternative source of energy be harnessed effectively?

Losing polluting natural resource is one of the most serious problems that people concerned during the 21st century. Scientists have found that traditional sources like fossil fuels are threatening people’s lives as well as the environment. Due to this, some countries have started their plans to harness, renewable energy and achieved satisfactory success. For a decade, the majority of countries in Europe have proved that used alternative source can reduce the environment pollution and the benefit of using alternative source is optimistic. In my opinion, the alternative source can reduce the environment pollution and how to harness that resource effectively is an important issue that I will discuss above.

There are various energy consider to be harmful to nature, such as oil and other fossil fuels, that have been abandoned by people now. In the past years, people drove gasoline cars which cause ever-increasing emissions and harmful gases that have negative effect to the ozonosphere. Besides, these traditional sources in earth have reduced sharply by fossil fuel used. Therefore, fossil fuels used mast be replaced by alternative resource. Alternative resource, which found by experts, is encouraged to solve the environment polluted problems. Firstly, there are many form of renewable source, like the solar system, biogas, wind turbines, nuclear power and hydropower energy. These sources can be recycled and they are gentle to the environment. Secondly, it is easy to get these alternative sources. In Kristiansand, people develop fuel from a variety sources: from an old landfill and sewage ponds, as well as wood waste from flooring factories and tree pruning. (Using waste, Swedish city cuts its fossil fuel use,p8)

Moreover, the benefit of using the renewable resources can be counted. Firstly, the renewable source can be used widely. Biogas can be used into heating, electrocuting and

There are many ways to conserve natural resources, all we need to do is look around and find a way to minimize the usage of natural resource that we using everyday. For example, turn off the lights when we leave the house; minimize the waste produced by buying less packaged goods and reusable products, and recycling. These are little things we can do to help, and these does not take much effort to do; however, if everybody does the same, we can still make that difference. In the big picture, we can consider using more renewable natural resources such as hydro-power and solar-power. These energy resources are the best ways to conserve natural resource such as fossil fuel. Fortunately, many energy conservative products have been invented: hybrid or electric cars and energy-efficient home appliances. These are the reflections of people’s concern towards the natural resources depletion. On the whole, we need to start do our share to conserve the energy and resource as part of our responsibility to the natural…

Over the last few decades our world has seen a migration or a swift transition, if you will, from fossil fuels to renewable sources of energy. The book, The Great Transition, by Lester R. Brown, is an account of that very change our world has seen with respect to the global energy revolution. The book details the shift in philosophy different countries have embraced over the years, going from the conventional oil, nuclear power and coal to the less conventional and more exciting renewable energies. As the world tries to shift away from the use of fossil fuels due to the ongoing increase in pollution and impending climate changes new ways to minimize the impact on our environment are continuously being created. However, these changes cannot…

We have been talking about Ethnography, which very simply put, creates a narrative based on field research about a particular group or culture. As practice for your own group Ethnography projects, you will write a short personal narrative, which uses digital technology, narrative elements and rhetorical appeals to tell your story. You are expected to create a map of a city of your choice and tell your story, your personal narrative, in Google Maps. Your composition must have at least five locations points. Each of the points should have a short “blurb” description. I strongly encourage you to think about how your experience connects to either a larger social issue or something you learned—about yourself, your surroundings, or the world. You are to use Google Maps as an aid to help you tell your story. Consider how readers will navigate through your locations and how Google Maps functions to help you tell your story.…

HLTA’s are professionals that have the relevant training knowledge, skills and experience relevant to, and related to HLTA standards. These standards are designed to provide assurance to teachers and parents about the quality of contribution to pupils learning that HLTA's can be expected to make. Additional, legislation and regulations requires that HLTA’s do not act or take the place of teachers, and that head teachers have influence on selecting staff. While standards are generic across all key stages, training provides opportunity to build on and develop their prior specialist knowledge and experience. Although training will be varied, all HLTA’s will go through the same preparation and assessment process.…

Escape is a theme consistent within both J.B Salinger’s “Catcher in the Rye” and Mark Twain’s “Huckleberry Finn” and is demonstrated through linguistic and literary techniques. In “The Catcher in the Rye” I have chosen the last three pages of Chapter 24 where Holden Caulfield, the protagonist, is spending the night sleeping on his previous teacher’s couch. The Huckleberry Finn extract I have chosen occurs in the beginning of Chapter 4. Huckleberry Finn has been kidnapped by his father and is now trapped in a cabin in the middle of the woods.…

Based on Standing’s (1973) examination of recognition memory and the recall of words and pictures which supported the picture superiority effect, this experiment measured the number of items recalled by participants that had either been given word or picture stimulus. The experiment was of an unrelated design in which thirty-four opportune sample participant’s from the University of Glamorgan were assigned to either a picture condition or a word condition and asked to memorise as many of the items from their assigned condition as possible. Based on previous evidence, the research hypothesis was that there would be a significant difference between memory for pictures and memory for words; however the results were non-significant, therefore the picture superiority effect was not supported in this study.…
