Minimizing Resistance to Change
Minimizing the resistance to change, how does a company a company maintain an atmosphere of change agents. In an ever changing society why is there such a great resistance to change and how can we minimize that resistance. I am in the US Navy and change is the one constant of my life along with the 87 thousand others that serve their country the question is not simple is there a way that we can ready people for change and better yet produce change agents for the future generations. I know there are several companies in the world today that fully utilize every creative endeavor to push to the future, generating new ideas and empowering their employees. How can we encompass those processes to create a process improvement state in the United States Navy. Currently the Navy has one of the best Military transition programs to assist Sailors when moving from one area to another during a change of station, and I have seen drastic improvement in how we treat Sailors and Soldiers sent to war zone areas both before and after deployments.
