HONOR is the privilege and opportunity to wear the uniform of my predecessors who made the ultimate sacrifice. Wearing the uniform proudly isn’t merely enough. I will value the honor of being selected as an officer by setting a high standard of excellence for my Sailors, and by maintaining accountability to my superiors who rely on my leadership in successfully executing the Navy's mission. COURAGE is mental and moral strength. My courage is reflected in my humility; when I admit to and learn from my mistakes. I will display courage as an officer by taking full accountability for my actions, leading by example, and continuously striving for improvement.
