Later that day I was told by Major Steve Schmidt that you were inquiring the whereabouts of the CID detectives in the dispatch area and you stated in front of Major Schmidt and other civilian personnel that “It’s Friday afternoon I’m sure they are at home”. This was done again in an unprofessional and condescending manner when in fact the detectives were actively investigating a recent homicide. In addition, you have repeatedly referred to Majors and the Chief by their first name on a regular basis. This also is a very disrespectful and unprofessional especially in front of your subordinates. Furthermore, there have been numerous administrative errors that have been documented over the past several years that continue to be a problem for the efficiency of the police department including payroll entries, mileage reports and subpoena processing. Most recently you failed to sign a highway safety overtime detail log. I have also been monitoring radio traffic and your condescending and unprofessional communications have started to affect your subordinates. I have noticed you have failed to give your location when called on the radio which is important not only for officer safety but also for the efficiency of call response.
