I would recommend that MedEx offer telecommuting to their employees and all future employees. According to (DuBrin & Barnard, 1993), Telecommuting has become an important component of modern working conditions. Telecommuting would improve MedEx work environment, save on operation cost, increase productivity and most of all lower turnover rate and help retain present and future employees. Turnover rate has been very costly for the company, therefore, Harry is considering telecommuting as an option to employees. Half of the staff has expressed interest in telecommunting, and According to (Martocchio, 2013), Telecommuters are able to stay in touch with coworkers and superiors through e-mail, telephone, and faxes.
