The body of this paper with give a clear idea of how leadership and management work in a holly congregation. Leadership and management are similar but different. A leader is the basic thought of who a person is. They also think differently, which make them a great leader. A manager is a mirror or a copy of a leader. The present public speaker that comes to mind who is a leader but also a manager is Apostle Darryl Glen McCoy Sr. who is the founder and general overseer of Trumpet In Zion Fellowship, Inc.…
Throughout history, population growth has triggered many different factors in developing countries. Every country, business, and government has felt the impact of the unforeseen disasters and diminishing resources on our planet. I think one way that we can see these changes is through the “Latesvology Conceptual Model”. This model measures changes in society. The changes are economic, societal values and understanding the variances and pressure points that impact changes. Economic patterns over time are essential for understanding these changes, the two assumptions are “ that more is preferable to less”, and that the “ desire for more can never be satisfied”.…
At the beginning of the semester, I became quite fascinated with the print ads for Glaceau Smart water. It did not take long after the professor introduced to the class a printed ad feauturing Jennifer Aniston for me to started looking at some of their other ads. Glaceau Smartwater print ads are both sexy and classy, also very appealing in most cases. Glaceau Smartwater is part of the Coca-Cola’s family, which, by the way is the world largest beverage company. I chose this print ad in part because of its appeal and also because it speaks to me. This print ad (featuring Idris Elba) is both sexy and classy, I can honestly say that I can see myself in the ad (well, I am sexier…) One thing that strikes me with the all of the Smartwater ads is the messages, they are very consistent in what they want to convey. It doesn’t matter who they use on a print ad the message remains very consistent.…

In the case of AIDS and Needles, nurses, doctors and other health care workers who use needles and syringes as part of their routine operation are exposed to the risk of infection of blood carried diseases from accidental injury on themselves. This issue is a pressing one as statistics reveal that Needlestick injuries occur frequently in large hospitals and account for about 80 per cent of reported occupational exposures to HIV among health care workers. It was conservatively estimated in 2005 that about 64 health care workers were then being infected with HIV each year as a result of needlestick injuries. Other blood carried diseases like Hepatitis B would also increase the risk of needlestick injuries. According to Centre for Disease Control, on the basis of hospital reports, that each year at least 12,000 health care workers are exposed to blood contaminated with the Hepatitis B virus, and of these 250 die as a consequence. Hence the fact that many people are suffering serious consequence from the risk forces us to view the problem seriously.…

With a small year-round population, Branson, Missouri, is in a location not easily accessible by air service. The city, best known for its country music and music variety shows and family-style attractions, also has the kinds of outdoor activities that attracted more than 8 million visitors last year, “earning it the unofficial nickname ‘Vegas without the gambling.’” About 95 percent of those visitors come by car or bus. But now there’s a new show in town—the Branson Airport. The $155 million airport, which opened in May 2009, is an experiment that many people are watching. The airport is generating interest from city governments and the travel industry because it’s the nation’s first commercial airport built and operated as a private, for-profit business with absolutely no government funding. As one expert said, “...unpretentious little Branson Airport could have an outsize effect it if works. It could turn what now is a mostly regional tourist spot into a national destination for tourists.” Steve Peet, the airport’s chief executive, admits that he had no idea where Branson was in 2000. But by 2004, he was convinced there was money to be made flying tourists there. He says, “If you were ever going to think about building a private commercial airport, this would be the place to do it. How many more visitors would come here if we made it easier and affordable for them? It seemed like an incredible opportunity.” So, using private financing, he decided to build a new commercial airport a short distance south of Branson’s popular music shows district. Both Peet and Jeff Bourk, executive director of the airport, continue to tackle the managerial challenges of turning that dream into reality. Construction work on the airport terminal and the 7,140-foot runway (which can accommodate most narrow-body jets) went smoothly. Bourk believed that much of that was due to minimal red tape. Because the airport wasn’t using federal…
Contemporary business environment is dynamic, competitive and challenging. It is dynamic because of its ever changing mood. It is competitive because of trade liberalisation where there are not any strict criteria to enter or exit the business world and whoever has the potential to compete can stay and grow there. It is challenging for those who are part of this because they have to do lot of hard work to keep pace with its dynamism.…

Management involves the manipulation of the human capital of an enterprise to contribute to the success of the enterprise. This implies effective communication: an enterprise environment (as opposed to a physical or mechanical mechanism), implies human motivation and implies some sort of successful progress or system outcome. As such, management is not the manipulation of a mechanism (machine or automated program), not the herding of animals, and can occur in both a legal as well as illegal enterprise or environment. Based on this, management must have humans, communication, and a positive enterprise endeavor. Plans, measurements, motivational psychological tools, goals, and economic measures (profit, etc.) may or may not be necessary components for there to be management. At first, one views management functionally, such as measuring quantity, adjusting plans, meeting goals. This applies even in situations where planning does not take place. n for-profit work, management has as its primary function the satisfaction of a range of stakeholders. This typically involves making a profit (for the shareholders), creating valued products at a reasonable cost (for customers), and providing rewarding employment opportunities for employees. In nonprofit management, add the importance of keeping the faith of donors. In most models of management and governance, shareholders vote for the board of directors, and the board then hires senior management. Some organizations have experimented with other methods (such as employee-voting models) of selecting or reviewing managers, but this is rare.In the public sector of countries constituted as representative democracies, voters elect politicians to public office.…
