That night, I once again woke up from my fitful sleep and decided to walk it off, but when I came downstairs, feeling the touch of the wooden handrail, and the pair of survivors on watch didn't wave back to me, or even blink. I exited the house, and the wind whistled as the world froze, and — suddenly there was a glimpse of someone darting through the streets. They were a cat - they moved lithely and disappeared from sight for a few seconds, then reappeared…

Life can inspire change. One man who was inspired by life was Terrence Bogans, the writer of “Being Mommy Behind Bars: The Psychological Benefits of Child Visitation with Incarcerated Mothers.” Bogans’ essay was about how child visitations can help parents with the mental stress of being incarcerated. He had many strong points about this argument, great logos, and a good pathos. But, Bogans did not present many ethos and more information about his main part of the argument. Terrence Bogans had a lot of information to back up his topic, supported his research with a good testimony, and expressed many counterarguments. However, Bogans spend a lot of time explaining and describing the supporting grounds instead of the main idea and those points weaken his essay and created confusion about what is the main topic.…

I have talked with some of my friends about “Should parents install spyware on the computer to inspect their kids?” All of them think that was not an appropriate way. One of them, Tonya Steel said, “It makes me sick that parents can put spyware on computer to stalk their kids.” She didn’t mean the software that just blocks porn sites; she just couldn’t accept the one that record every keystroke, every page clicked on even every msn convo. Tonya said: “It crossing the line way too far!” However, when I discuss this question with some parents, their answers are diversity. Some of them think it depend on children’s age, such as if kids are just 10, and they will consider to put spyware on their computer; if they are over 17, and they won’t do this. Some parents think they have the rights to put anything even spyware on their own computer. If kids use their parents’ computer, they should recognize this. Most of think blocking bad website is fine, but tracking every single website and private conversation is too much. As I talked with people, I found this is a controversial topic. It is hard to say who is right or wrong. Everyone has their own standards.…

What is the important of spyware? In the article “The Undercover Parents” by Harlan Coben in March 16, 2008 reports that parents should put spyware on their children’s social network. Most parents put spyware on their kids to monitor their kid’s behavior, or keep them from danger or harmful places. Coben’s purpose of writing this article is to persuade the readers to spyware their kids online to protect their kids from danger or harmful online websites, or to keep their children on track with their academic. However, some parents will say that they should have a trust on their kids. I agree with Coben’s arguments that parents should spyware to monitor their kid’s behavior online.…
