Mahmoud Letter

To Whom It May Concern:
Mahmoud Alhafez was a student of mine at the International English Center, University of Colorado at Boulder in the Spring, 2014 session. I had the pleasure to have him as a student in my Beginning Reading and Listening & Speaking Classes. I would like to take this opportunity to speak about Mahmoud as a student in my class.
Mahmoud was a responsible and diligent student who made progress in the time since he has been in our program. He engaged himself in classroom activities full-heartedly. He readily got along with other students and participated in groups well. Moreover, he demonstrated very good leadership skills in classroom activities. In addition, he had a positive attitude and has set his academic goals high.
Mahmoud has shown a determination and enthusiasm for learning which was reflected in his diligent assignments. He always asks pertinent and intriguing questions so that he can fully understand and comprehend new grammar points and concepts in writing summaries or on various topics for his presentations. He understands the importance of learning English in reaching his future goals.
All of these reasons support my feeling that Mahmoud Alhafez has the qualities needed to learn and grow as an Engineering student.
