In the comparison of these two individuals they are very different in character. Lysander seems to have his way with words and is curious about someone’s feelings and doesn’t do anything in hatred. He acknowledges that true love can have a rough road and have up and down emotions. Demetrius, on the other hand, always seems to be mad in the story. He has finally had it with Helena and just had to be straight up honest with her about his lack of feelings for her, but in a rude kind of mean way.
