That’s amazing, honey. We have never been there before. But we don’t have desire to go there, it’s terrifying. Honey, please don’t throw anything into the water, just only watch it. It’s dangerous. You know Piranha fish well, they can bite you. And you shouldn’t swim at night, we care about you because you don’t have flashlight and you might not realize that there are predators or poisonous animals living into there like King cobra, crocodile and so on. Eventually, we hope you will have a happy time. And don’t forget to type us email every day. We love you, good night.…

Hannah Senesh is quite known for her act of bravery, joining the Haganah and the British. During the time period of which she was alive she created poem “Walking to Caesarea” a powerful poem reminiscing about the the storms along the Mediterranean and the naturality of prayer to man. Buried on mount Herzl, known as Hero in Israeli few know the personal side of Senesh, which is powerfully revealed in “Fire in My Heart: The Story of Hannah Senesh.Hannah Senesh (or Chana Szenes) (Born: July 17, 1921; Executed: November 7, 1944 ) was a Palestinian Jew born in Hungary, who volunteered to parachute into occupied Hungary for the British army. Senesh came from an assimilated Hungarian Jewish family and studied at a Protestant school open to Catholics…

For this scene I chose the song “Compassion(Change the World)” by Andrew Witt. I chose this song because it talks about one person that really wants to help the person who is in trouble. It also talks about that maybe that person doesn’t know how to assist everyone, but he’s going to at least help one person and make them feel better. The quotation that I chose from this song is:”And when all's said and done I can't change the world But I can change the world for one.” I think this really relates to Feste because he is the only compassionate one in this play who actually thinks about other people and not just himself and the people he’s in love with. He used to also hate Malvolio because he mocked him and insulted him, but in…

“Maa chor, beta chor”, chant a chorus of Mumbai street-children as they tail a mother in a white sari, Radha, and her small son, Anil. Radha protectively pushes Anil infront of her as they walk home purposefully. En route, Anil threatens to throw a rock at a heckler, but Radha prevents this and pulls Anil along. After they enter their home, Radha starts crying. Anil, moved by this, grabs a knife and threatens to cut out each of the slanderers’ tongues. Radha calms him down. Suddenly, in the next shot, we are taken to a pleasant scene in Goa, where we are introduced to a handsome young man singing at a Christian wedding. This is no other than Anil, but as an adult.…

Nagra uses different uses of language and techniques to gain attention. In stanza one the word "Daddy" refers to showing how innocent the character is and how it is easier for his wife to get him in control as he is innocent and naive so she can trap him easily. through out the poem Nagra uses phallic imagery as it says "your bananas are plantain" this sexual imagery is shown to create a sense of humor as when we think of bananas it then relates back to phallic imagery like the penis. He also uses sexual imagery again where it says"like we rowing through putney" the word 'putney' refers to the word puddi which is not an so romantic way to put it, he then again does this by purpose just too spice in a sense of humor. his wife is not presented as such a pleasant Indian wife as in many points in the poem she is described as an rebellious type of women who doesn't really go with the stereotype about how Indian women speak to elders with respect as "she egging at my mum" and "den stumble like a drunk making fun of my daddy" the first line shows how she has no respect for her mother in law and how disrespectful she is, due to her husband being naive and innocent maybe that is why she gets away with what she wants. This also shows negative effects towards her husband because if she loves her husband she would no treat her in laws in this way, gives a sign that maybe she is not that stereotypical Indian women you would expect from her. The same with her father in law she treats him in quite ghastly as who would make fun of their in laws. Then comes a point where it is written "above my head high heels tap di ground" When we think of heels we transmit it too someone who is working in an office or someone really posh, so this shows cleverness as office people tend to and are really clever .…

So I am very into the "indie" genre of music, and one of my favorite sub-genres from that is called "witch house". It's very strange, it reminds me of what would be playing late at night when something supernatural is about to happen. That is not what this song is, but it's what I thought it was going to be. I was really surprised when it started playing, it was upbeat and had soothing quality to it. The mixture of the music and the singer’s voice makes me feel so calm, it's almost hypnotic I just want to sway along with the song.…

The song that makes me feel as though it was written about me, for me, is Harsh Realms by Tom Gable of Against Me! Every line in this masterpiece of acoustic punk speaks to me. The song is about being forced into adulthood whether you are ready or not. He talks about how every decision you make shapes your future, and makes you question what you will do with your life. Learning from Gita

The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, narrated in the Bhishma-Parva of the Mahabharata. It comprises eighteen chapters of a total of 701 Sanskrit verses. Considerable matter has been condensed and compressed within these verses. On the battle-field of Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna, during the course of His most interesting and instructive talk with Arjuna, revealed the profound, sublime and soul-stirring spiritual truths, and expounded to him the rare secrets of Yoga, Vedanta, Bhakti and Karma. All the teachings of Lord Krishna were subsequently recorded as the Song Celestial or the Bhagavad Gita by Sri Bhagavan Vyasa for the benefit of humanity at large. The world is under a great debt of gratitude to Sri Vyasa who has presented this Celestial Song to humanity for their daily conduct in life, spiritual uplift and Self-realisation. Only those who are self-controlled and are endowed with faith can reap the full benefit of the Gita, The purpose of Bhagavad Gita is to deliver mankind from the darkness of material existence. Every one of us is in difficulty in so many ways. Just as Arjuna was in difficulty because of having to fight the battle of Kuruksetra. Arjuna surrendered to Krishna and consequently the Bhagavad Gita was spoken.…

In these two rap songs, "Ain't Nothin' But A Word To Me" by Too Short (feat. Ice Cube) (1996) and "Bitch Ass Niggaz" by Dr. Dre (feat. Snoop Dogg, Hitman & Six-Two) (2001), explains how women are gendered as sexualized objects that are disposed after use, and racializes the importance of men’s hegemonic masculinity. In this paper I will compare and contrast how women are described as sexual, disposable trash, and men as cowards from the word “bitch.” The concept of "Bitch" is how a person (not necessarily a woman) is thoroughly disliked. In the first song by Too Short the first verse, “She won't complain about shit because, she's my hoe” which he refers to women will not complain. Women will do whatever Too Short tells her. Women belong to him because he owns them. The song makes people think that all women are sluts that sleep around. The rappers have perceived biological differences because women are viewed to be sexual disposable objects. Rappers believe and norms require women to cook, clean, and serve men no matter what mistakes men makes or abuse that women are going through.…
