Another notable economic contribution of LPKS is the enhancement of local trade through selling local products in the general store and gift shop and hosting a local market. In fact, there are a number of Australian made products in stores in LPKS (Image 10).
Furthermore, LPKS also hosts Fig Tree Pocket Market every Friday providing local grown fresh products for people in the around suburbs (Image 11). The market, operating on sustainable concept, has directly brought a source of income to local farmers, producers and artisans.
