Love is Like a Roller Coaster
Have you ever heard the saying a relationships are like riding a roller coaster? Loving somebody is often compared with riding a roller coaster, and clearly not in vain. Relationships between two people are similar to a roller coaster. They both have their ups and downs. Both situations can make you feel fear and risk, when you feel that not everything is on you. I was face with a relationship that I would consider a roller coaster. I will compare your first roller coaster ride to being in relationship with someone you love from my own personal experience. First I’m going to discuss your first roller coaster ride. I know everyone remember that one roller coaster ride that they got on again and again. When you first stood in line waiting to get on the ride, you had so much excitement. You couldn’t wait to ride the roller coaster and have so much enjoyment. Once you’re on the roller coaster, you can’t wait for it to start. Once the roller coaster ride starts you enjoying the smooth ride and before you know it, you have hit your first loop. That loop freaked you out and you more than scared and don’t know what’s coming next. Then you’re back to your smooth roller coaster ride for a few seconds and you hit that sharp turn that no one was expecting. Before you know it the roller coaster has did turns and loops that have really got you either loving this ride or hating you ever got on it. Once off the ride you have this moment thinking did I really just do this. Either you are going to want to ride this again and again or you will want to ride another for this moment of excitement. I know you are truly wondered how this roller coaster ride compares to being in a relationship. That’s just it. You never know what you get when you’re in a relationship with someone. Just like when you first get on to a roller coaster and you have eagerness to get on the ride, it’s just like when you get into relationship and you are so eager to be with

The roller coaster is so fast. It is a roller coaster that is never seen before. When you see some roller coaster have some loops and small turns, well this is the complete opposite. Consequently, You will experience so much during the ride and what is even better is if you chose to ride in a cart that will go twice around for a little bit more so you do not have to wait in line again to ride it another time. The carts are aerodynamic so that he has less air resistance they will have a higher speed. I personally like roller coasters that are fast so with this being more aerodynamic which will allow it not to slow down while allowing it to not decrease in speed. When you are going down the hill you will always feel weightlessness which is when you lift out of your seat like you're flying. It has an acceleration…

Augustus Waters from The Fault in Our Stars once spoke, "I'm on a rollercoaster that only goes up my friend." At one point in my life, I found this quote to be totally insignificant. Now that I look back on my teenage years, I see it. The rollercoaster only went up from the point I opened my big, fat, attitude infested, mouth to my step-mother, Verona. The take off was bumpy, as well the entire rest of the journey up. Though it did eventually come down, not only going up. I came down an entirely different person and didn't have to think of life as a fictional roller coaster to stay happy.…

Six years later, but time still hadn’t changed my opinion. I looked at the ride, the unforgiving sun glinting on the cold steel. An icy shiver ran down my spine, my palms getting clammier by the minute. I glanced at my friend, jealous of her indifference. Hanging onto the railing, I silently cursed myself for being so afraid. So weak. This wasn’t about riding a roller coaster that scared me out of my wits anymore; it was about proving that I could conquer my fears. My pride wouldn’t let me have it any other way. From the moment that I agreed to go on the ride, I knew that I would have to follow through with my decision. I couldn’t be that little girl who was too frightened to have fun anymore. I didn’t want to be the one left on the bench while her friends ran off to enjoy themselves. The only way to change that would be to prove everyone wrong. To prove myself…

At thirteen years old, I was the kid that no one wanted to drag to an amusement park with because I strictly stuck to the merry go round and swings. My parents were always eagerly trying to persuade me to at least try a roller coaster but I refused. Deep inside I wanted to be fearless and be able to jump on the attraction like there was no problem, but I was too nervous. All of my friends, including my family were adrenaline junkies, always wanting to get on the roughest and worst rides of them all. This naturally caused me to become even more frustrated when attending Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, which was very often. It wasn’t till one day when visiting the park that I decided I was not just going to take a risk, but I was determined to overcome my first roller coaster.…

“Wooooshhhhh!!!” At blast off, California Screamin, took us through twists and turns, with an upside down loop. People were screaming their lungs out when the steel roller coaster soared into the air like a rocket. The terrifying speed made my toes curl and the strong wind pushed my head against the rubber black seat. I cried bloody murder on the coaster as it fell plumb down almost touching the ground. All too soon, it was over. After I got off of the thrill ride, I found my haggard look with disheveled hair through a snapshot picture. This is simply too awful to contemplate.…
