Dear Coach Williams, I have been on a boat in the ocean for 3 months now. I learned about three species and several plants. I found incredible facts about the ocean. The ocean covers 71% of the earth's surface and contains 97% of earth's water. Less than 1% of the earth's water is freshwater. The other 2-3% is contained in glaciers and ice caps. Also, 99% of the living space is contained by the ocean and it holds 320 million cubic miles of water.
