Trying to develop and implement a motivational plan for a group of teammates with varying personalities can provide to be a challenging task. Each individual has different strengths and weaknesses that affect their personalities. Managing a group also includes the challenge of motivating these teammates and understanding that each of them is motivated by different factors Finding ways to motivate teammates in a technological department is a challenge because working in a technology driven career really requires a certain high level of self-motivation and a sense of drive without too much interaction from a leader. Generally you are assigned responsibilities and it is up to you to meet the deadlines and handle the work load you are assigned by self-managing your time. …show more content…
Breaking down the department into different sections would be the best way to implement the different personalities and ensure production. For example a researching division would best suit the steadiness personality; they could take the clientele needs into consideration and relay the information to dominance personalities to be able to develop innovative solutions based on the clienteles needs. After the solution is developed and successfully tested the interactive personalities would be best suited to put the solution into production and ensure that the clientele is happy with the solution. The last part of the project implementation would be to compile research about how productive and successful the solution was for the organization. This part of the project would best be delegated to the cautious personalities because they would have a set parameter to work within and a hard deadline to work
