During the spring and fall, he is usually out on a service call repairing or replacing equipment. As I said earlier, my job shadow took place at Seubert Seeds in Canistota. I went on the sixth of December on a pretty cold Tuesday at 11 in the morning. Their shop is about 50 feet wide and 90 feet long with a wall right down the middle of the …show more content…
My family and I live on a farm, so he and I could relate pretty well. My dad has done business with Kenny and the other guys at Seubert Seeds before, so that was something that made me feel more comfortable about going. Kenny and I spent a small amount of time doing hands on work, such as testing seed meters. Even though I didn’t learn a ton physically, I gained a large amount of knowledge from him by just talking to him about what he does everyday. Due to this, I was able to ask multiple questions that I wanted to know more about and it also gave him a little relief to see that I was interested and engaged in what he had to

According to the USDA 41% of Americans were involved in agriculture in 1900. Today, “less than two percent of Americans are farmers,” says Wildeboer, he hopes to make an impact on an agriculture level within the community. Agriculture education has taught him more real world experiences than in any classroom due to traveling and hands on community…

There are many roles that police officers and police departments take on. One of the most interesting roles that they take in my opinion is the role of undercover police work. It is one of the most unique jobs an officer can have; they, in a sense are living a double life. These operations are very secretive and undercover officers can be used in huge operations to take someone down or simply just talking to people on the street to gain more intel about certain crimes. Undercover work is also very tricky because at any moment in time the officers could be made out to be not who they say they are and the operation could be ruined, or worse, they could be severely injured or killed. Undercover work is sometimes considered controversial, because sometimes they have to break the law to enforce the law (Joh, 2009). These officers may sometimes suffer from stress, alcohol or drug abuse, and extreme anxiety while undercover, some have a difficult time reintegrating back into society after the operation. Undercover police work has been romanticized in television; however undercover officers have many duties and take a lot of risks with their lives and the lives of others while trying to bring justice to the public.…
