JEHOVAH - THE GRAND CREATOR

Psalms 97:9 ''For you, O Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth;
You are very high in your ascent over all [other] gods.

Did you notice that Jehovah is described as 'the most high'? 5o times, the Bible describes Jehovah as the most high. Jehovah is so fittingly described because no one else can compare to him. At Revelation 10:6, the apostle John further alluded to the highness of Jehovah when he identified Jehovah as the one who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it and the earth and the things in it. Jehovah is the great first cause, he alone is uncreated. He alone is without beginning.

Psalms 113:4,5 ''Jehovah has become high above all the nations;
His glory is above the heavens. 5 Who is like Jehovah our God,
Him who is making his dwelling on high?

Jehovah alone holds the supreme and ultimate position in the universe. He holds the unique position as the only creator of all created things. None of the angels, not even his firstborn son, can be compared or equated with Jehovah. Jehovah indeed is the most high God.

But, the wise man, Solomon, describes Jehovah in yet another manner.

Ecclesiates 12:1 ''Remember, now, your Grand Creator in the days of your young manhood, before the calamitous days proceed to come, or the years have arrived when you will say: “I have no delight in them”;

Here, Solomon aptly describes Jehovah as THE GRAND CREATOR. This denotes excellence or grandeur. It conveys Jehovah's incomparable position, denoting his unmatched majesty, his unmatched dignity, his supremacy, awe-inspiring glory and power.

The opening statement of the Bible, the inspired word of God, gives credence to the grandness of Jehovah. Genesis 1:1 '' In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth.'' Simple.! The creation of the universe makes Jehovah, the grand creator. Jehovah has always existed but the universe has not always existed. Genesis 1:1 says in

    The book of Psalms is a clear acceptance of wisdom and poetry unto God, the Creator of heavens and earth. David, his Sons, and others expressly write their human’s emotions in prayers and hymns to convey a message from their hearts in many ways. The book of Psalms is also equivalent to the New Testament as well, the Old Testament , example, Psalm 22:1 where David cries in agony, just as Jesus Christ did in the Gospel of Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34 collectively describing in Scriptures a separation from God. Nevertheless, God is only prayer away in every…

    “Not only is John 's gospel written for evangelism, it seems to be written particularly for Jewish evangelism. From the beginning, the book of John is geared to Jewish thinking. John 1:1 sounds very much like the beginning of Genesis, the first book of the Hebrew Scriptures Taken with the Genesis account that Elohim (God) created the heavens and the earth, the gospel of John reinforces the idea of Messiah as the Creator Himself. Genesis 1:26 records Elohim as saying, "Let Us make man in Our image.…" The Hebrew Elohim is a plural noun. It embodies a sense of composite unity which, seen in the context of the gospel accounts, relates to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit working…

    It is truly amazing to find out how much God’s love is to mankind is. HE is a supreme being, because how can we explain the knowledge he possess. HE is a God of new beginnings and HE has existed before the world was even created. The bible says “In the beginning, God…” there was no account of how HE came into existence and the whole idea of what we are seeing today has been predetermined by HIM and it is still very much relevant to our lives today.…

    Christ started out as exalted. He was God from the beginning, but in-spite of this fact Jesus choose to humble himself. In this way of looking at it, we see Christ as exalted, then He is humiliated. Finally we see that He is exalted again. It seems that He was even exalted higher then He ever was. In this exaltation, everyone will declare Him to be Jesus Christ the Lord.…

    The first and second creation stories provide contrasting information about God. In the first creation story, God observes from above, an earth without form or shape, and darkness over the abyss. He begins creation by uttering the words, “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3). God speaks outside of creation, and creates the world and its inhabitants from above, distant, and beyond us. One example of God’s transcendence in the first creation story is how God creates humans from a distant vantage point, saying, “let us make human beings in our image” (Genesis 1:26). The first creation story describes a transcendent God that looks down upon his creations from above. In the second creation story, when God created vegetation, he “planted a garden” (Genesis 2:8). Next, when God created humankind, he “formed the man...and…
