Japan vs Korea
There are many Asian cities that I find fascinating, but Japan and Korea have really close relationship ever since their ancient histories to this day; their economic growth and development have similarities in them but their characteristics are different, for example Korea is divided into north Korea and south Korea, Japan on the other hand has four main islands – Honshu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, and Kyushu - that is located to the east of Korea. The two counties may seem alike, but they share many differences.
One obvious difference is the language. Japan has five different Japanese language, which consists of three writing and two speaking languages – formal and informal type-. The formal language is usually used to show respect to whoever they are talking to, people they meet for the first time or talking to an elder person and so on. The second language is used for people who are familiar with each other, friends, sister, brother, wife, and kids. The second is katakana which is used to translate foreign words and names, and the last is Romaji which is used for Latin alphabets “acronyms and initialisms”. Unlike Japan, Korea has two different languages, North Korea uses the old Korean language which was spoken at ancient times and south uses a new Korean language more like the modified one which isn’t that different from the original language.

Like other countries; Japan’s population growth has slowed down early this year with decreased rate of deaths. But on the other hand, “Korea’s total population is estimated at 47 million, with a density of 476 people per square kilometer”. Most Korean lived in Seoul –urban area- however people started moving to suburban areas of Seoul.
