J. E. Nicassio's Fro From The Sky
Samantha Hunter has been through much already in her young life. She lost control of the car behind the wheel, and her brother Finn has killed in the accident. Not long after this, her mother dies from an accident, although Samantha believes it was suicide. She blames herself for both deaths which causes her a great amount of anxiety. Her father accepts a job in another state hoping to help her return to her former self, and they end up moving from Pennsylvania to New Mexico for her senior year of high school.
There is a bright spot in this move, though, and that is Lucien Foster. He is unlike anyone she’s ever met before, and he helps her become more like her old self again. There are some strange people following her and causing her trouble, however, and it seems to be because of Lucien. She learns that he is an alien looking for his home world. Will the two be able to find a way to live happily ever after? Will one of the many groups chasing them finally catch up with them? Or will he finally find a way back to his home world? …show more content…
E. Nicassio. This is really a young adult alien romance as is quite popular right now. The author does a great job bringing in conspiracy theories from Area 51 to the Roswell crash which makes the story even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the fact that this book was split into short chapters. Since this is really supposed to be a young adult book, I think that makes it easier for the teenage reader as it is easy to pick up and put down or read all in one
