Ivanka Trump Speech
As 43rd president of the United States, George W Bush had a lot to live up to. His father, George H. W. Bush, was the 41st president. George W Bush worked on his father’s campaign and reelection campaign before running for president himself two terms later. He heroically helped raise money for tsunami disaster relief after the December 2004 disaster claimed about 227,898 lives. President Donald Trump may not be the president George H. W. Bush was, but Trump’s daughter Ivanka trump may be just as heroic as George W Bush. Because of Ivanka Trump’s actions while being in the spotlight behind her father, she is a modern classic hero.
Ivanka Trump has done many great deeds. Being the daughter of a billionaire, and a millionaire herself, she has

As an advocate for women, Ivanka speaks for woman in the workforce. According to “Ivanka Puts Women First: Trump Joins Narendra Modi at India-US Business Meet.” Ivanka spoke about how low the employment is in India and the economic advantages that they could provide (“Ivanka Puts Women First”). Speaking in a foreign country is hard enough on its own, not to mention criticizing the way another country runs. Her courage shined during that speech because she is taking a stand for what she believes in. According to an article written by Annie Karni, a writer covering political matters for POLITICO, Ivanka wants to make climate change one of her passions (Karni). An article published by Sarah Ellison, a politics and culture for Vanity Fair, she is passionate about climate change, she met with al gore and leonardo Dicaprio to discuss it (Ellison). Ivanka obviously cares about climate change enough to want to discuss it with people who are outspoken advocates of the issues with climate change. A tweet by Ivanka Trump reads, “#EqualPayDay is a reminder that women deserve equal pay for equal work. We must work to close the gender pay gap!” (Ivanka Trump). Any post on social media is bound to have reprocussions, but by posting a tweet, she is prepared to deal with those reprocussions to get her idea on line. Ivanka’s courage allows her to be a voice for many things that others are not as passionate

But, from what I’ve seen of her, I can’t say I like her much as a person. Segment 10 talks about how well coached she is in body language, to me this is clear in the fact that her smile feels forced and conscious, and her facial management techniques seem obvious. Her general paralanguage patterns don’t sound natural, but rather curated. In her defense, it’s possible that this is as a result of Having to speak a certain way, as to not repel male voters. As mentioned in Segment 23, female politicians have the extra hurdle of addressing the sound of what they say along with what they’re vocally saying. All of these things combined give off a feeling of overly calculated, and at times even dishonest. This is in such a deep contrast to Senator Clinton’s husband, who is show in Segment 12 to be able to publicly execute nonverbal messages very well. It would seem as though he has also been coached on how to convey these message, but the fact that Bill Clinton is better at it; can make him feel like a more honest person. This is, in a way, backed up by Segment 14 and 26. He really isn’t good at nonverbal lying, this leads me to feel that he is being genuine most other…

On Friday, March 11, 2016 my unit, Ben Morrell Battalion, and I arrived at Nancy Reagan’s funeral at around 0700 to honor the guests attending. We were stationed around the front entrance waiting for the guests to arrive. When the guests arrived, we snapped to attention and stood there until they had passed. I did not know who most of the guests were that passed us, but we did have the honor to greet Newt Gingrich and his wife, Larry King, and Tom Selleck. We alternated from at ease to attention for about two hours for the guests. When all of the guests had arrived, we witnessed the motorcade carrying the First Lady, former first ladies, and our former President. It was an honor to see and be in the presence of our country’s leaders. In between…

In John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address, the author shifts from a powerful tone to an instructive tone by setting an example for other countries, inspiring the younger generations of Americans, and instructing his fellow Americans. Kennedy shows a powerful and tone when he says “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any for to assure the survival and the success of liberty.” Kennedy also shows a powerful tone to America’s young people when he states, “We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans- born in in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage- and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.” Kennedy then shifts his tone to instructive when he advices his citizens to “ask not what America will do for you- ask what you can do for your country.” Kennedy shifts from a powerful tone to an instructive tone in his inaugural address by setting an example for other countries, inspiring the younger generations of Americans, and by instructing his fellow Americans.…

Donald Trump’s speech on a positive note did thank President Obama and the first lady for helping him with the transition. Then Trump started tapping into his core supporter, going over how only a few has reaped the rewards of government while the masses pickup the cost. Also, he attacked the Politicians by stating they prospered, “but the jobs left.” Moreover, Trump’s inaugural speech was similar to his campaign when he was running against Hilary Clinton. He echoes the words “make America great again.” Then with his speech he mentioned he would transfer the power to “the people.” Moreover, he pointed out the negatives of the establishment and he stated the system was broken. However, never stated how or what the solution was to fix the problems…
