It's Time To Stop Illegal Immigration
I think that illegal immigrants have no right to be in the U.S. I believe that there’s a big difference between “illegal immigrants “and “immigrants”. There must be a reason why someone would enter the United States illegally and most of the time it’s not for a good cause. Illegal immigrants can be potentially dangerous to the U.S and our society because we don’t know who they are and they’re not documented. There’s approximately 325 million people living in the United States and having extra people such as illegal immigrants, can cause overpopulation, low wages, and unemployment. The poverty level is already at its ultimate low and it could potentially get lower with undocumented immigrants sneaking their way across the border and staying here. …show more content…
The time has come to try Amnesty again. If the U.S puts Amnesty in motion, we can get more legal immigrants. Illegal immigrants don’t have their documents so therefore they won’t be accepted into most jobs and they won’t be able to do much legally here in the U.S. If they’re not doing anything or contributing to our country, then why are they here? They’re taking up space, jobs, and money and we need to do something about it. Many of us U.S citizens work hard for our money and to provide for our families and it’s not fair to have illegal immigrants take or limit our wages. Illegal immigrants impact our economy and the lives of our citizens. Their willingness to work for low wages is having an impact on the amount of jobs that are available for U.S

Even though they aren’t natural born citizens they have a right to come and work just like the rest of use. Americans accuse immigrants for taking their jobs. They just take the low paying jobs that Americans don’t want. It’s so easy to blame someone else for our mishaps instead of standing up to our responsibilities. They just have to go about it the right way and get there green cards and do things the right way. I don’t believe in doing things illegally that only makes you and your people look bad. People are quick to judge and that’s not the bad reputation you want to leave about your home…

I personally believe that we should let immigrants. I feel that immigrants help the United States. Although some immigrants have harmed the United States, I feel that with the right security measures we can make sure that immigrants do not harm us. Immigrants do the jobs that most Americans would never do. If immigrants did not do those jobs then there will be less workers doing those jobs meaning that there will be fewer jobs and less production. This also helps the economy. If there weren't any immigrant workers it would affect farmers heavily because they wouldn't be able to grow crops that require a lot of workers. Farmers would then have to only grow crops that they could profit off of growing. The jobs that immigrants do are actually…

Immigrants come from all over the world with the determination to fulfill their wants and necessary needs to live. The United States of America offers great job opportunities and a healthy environment to live. “A vast majority of these immigrants want to get right by law, but there is no achievable pathway for them to do so” (Scholastic Upfront). Everyday, these individuals face hardship and criticism from Americans that claim they “do not want aliens in their country.” Immigrants are people too! With these harsh remarks being constantly thrown at them and having no pathway to start their legal…

I believe that illegal immigrants should not be allowed to stay in our country. By making this statement, I am not saying that I am against immigration in any way. I am happy to welcome immigrants into our country, as long as they just live under our laws like the rest of us. If they come here legally, we would be able to do background checks on them before letting them into our country so there is less of a chance of crime being committed by immigrants. I think that if immigrants want to live in our country, they should find a job and use that money to find a place to live. However, immigrants should not just use our government’s money for their possessions because when they continuously abuse the welfare system, American taxes increase at tremendous rates each year to pay for them.…

Imagine living in the U.S. as an illegal immigrant with a nice family and a job then BANG! That person does one small thing wrong he, or she could get deported from their families and anything they ever worked for just because they didn’t have a green card. secondly In the U.S. there are many illegal immigrants being deported from their families and losing everything just because becoming a U.S. citizen is a lot harder then some people would think. In summary illegal immigrants should be able to stay in the U.S. because it is inhumane to deport these individuals from their families, across the U.S. undocumented workers perform a critical role in U.S. Economy; lastly, amnesty is not the best solution to our immigration problem but it is the only reasonable solution.…

If illegal immigrants prosper it is because they have earned it. They stole no one’s job they have worked slowly and build their empire. If some illegal immigrants have succeeded than actual residents or citizens it is because their hard work payed off. Their hard work of working long hours without overtime pay and the cost of late night ambitions. These are only few examples of why illegal immigrants deserve to be here in the United Stated. Illegal immigrants are willing to loose every right they have, risk their lives, and get paid a misery to be here. In fact, illegal immigrants are called Mojados which in english means wetbacks. Wetbacks because we swim a river to get here. Little do people know that people from Central America are called 3 Veses Mojados. They are called 3 Veses Mojados because they have to cross more than one border. Just imagine the high risk it is to cross from Mexico to the United States now only imagine from Central America. Illegal immigrants coming from Central America have to go through all these high risk three times. So yes they have every right to be here just like everyone…

Immigrants who are in the United States deserve to stay here. The government should not be hasty about kicking them out and help them stay in America if the reach a certain requirement. The process would include for immigrants to have a background check, paying taxes, paying a penalty, learning english, and they would have to wait just like other people who want to come into america have to wait. Their shouldn’t be a fight about who is and who isn't allowed to come into the U.S. anymore, anyone should be able to America and feel safe. Deportation needs to end, their shouldn’t be a right or wrong on what race you are if it’s hispanic or muslim, there shouldn’t be argument in this. Immigration is not a bad thing for America either, the economy rises and it adds jobs, over 9 million jobs were made just by immigration. Immigrants already pay taxes and most immigrants are law abiding, America should let those who have lived here remain here, as Bernie Sanders said “It is time to end the discussion of mass deportation. We cannot and we should not even be talking about sweeping up millions of men, women, and children, many of whom have been here for years, and throwing them away.” (Sanders). In today’s society more people would rather have people who have immigrated into America turn into citizens than get deported, it would be…

Immigration is one of the most infamous topics today in American culture. The million dollar question is whether or not we should let immigrants in; legal or illegal. In my opinion, we should let immigrants in that are willing to go through the process of becoming an American citizen. Legal immigrants are tolerable, but when we start to see illegal immigrants hop the border in big packs, our economy starts to plunder with the mass amounts of immigrants we have to care for.…

“Undocumented” peoples tend to migrate to the America with the intent to find work and consequently make money. Legal, documented U.S. citizens also have to work and make money. Undocumented peoples that inappropriately claim American jobs before legal American citizens should not be tolerated. Secondly, some immigrants can “... take college slots that American citizens could use” (Should Illegal Immigrants). Undocumented citizens should not be able to just take what is rightfully a documented U.S.…

The pain and suffering some aliens and immigrants suffer is just unbearable. Millions of undocumented immigrants, “Families are afraid to seek health care and cannot enroll their children in school. They cannot call the police if they are assaulted or raped…” (“Illegal Immigration”). Illegal immigrant’s worst fear is to be deported back to their native countries and the sacrifices they have to go through while crossing the border. For example, “crossing the Mexican border into the United States must often travel for miles across open desert, Hundreds die each year from exposure to the heat, as well as hunger and dehydration” (Illegal Immigration). Illegal immigrants are not granted the same rights or privileges as others. I believe that illegal…

I strongly disagree with having migrant workers being legal. Think of the kids, isn’t there a law saying, “No child left behind?” Well many kids are left behind in their educations right now. Why? Because they are always on the move, transferring from one school to another. They have to learn different subject in every school and can never start school on the first day, and always have to come in the middle of the school year, then move again. What about the hard working parents, and their parents, generations after generations are forced to stay to mbe migrant workers, in order to have enough money and survive. And no one could ever ever make any friends. That is not fair, and yet many migrant workers are out there in the world, still suffering and picking crops right now, in this minute. I believe that there should be more than the 5o-mile law and for migrants to have more…

    Immigration Legalization

I think if immigrants want to be here illegally because they think they can have a better life so be it, but they do so at their own risk. There should be risk involved with being somewhere you’re not supposed to be. States should not be embracing them with a welcome bag full of goodies. At the same time laws like Arizona’s SB 1070 are too aggressive in my view. It goes too far to give law enforcement officials the right to “check the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being in the country without authorization” as Karthick Ramakrishnan and Pratheepan Gulasekaram phrase it in their article. There is too much room left for harassment and personal prejudice with that situation. We should not be patrolling the streets looking for Latino people to check on their status. But we shouldn’t make it too easy for them to remain here illegally. It should be difficult for them to find work and living accommodations while they are illegal. If it’s so easy to live here and thrive while illegal why would they go through the trouble of becoming legal? Why start paying taxes if you don’t have to? There would be no incentive for them to change.…

Birthright citizenship has been one of the most controversial issues in America and always in the heated center of immigration reform battles. In addition, bills to deny birthright citizenship have been introduced in Congress many times so far. According to the report from Devin Burghart, in the 113th Congress, Rep. Steve King, an outspoken hardliner on immigration, introduced a bill on January 3 to "require that only the children of citizens, legal immigrants permanently living in the country or immigrants in the military, be granted citizenship" (Burghart). King is not making a fuse about nothing. Nowadays, the United States and Canada are the only developed nations in the world that grant automatic U.S. citizenship to almost all children born in the United States, regardless of whether the parents are U.S. citizens, legal residents, temporary visitors, or illegal aliens in the United States. According to Every year, about eight percent of all U.S. births come from at least one illegal-alien parent, according to the Pew Hispanic Center. Moreover, alone with a range of social problems publicly ascribed to birthright citizenship, there has been a great calling for abolishing such a clause from the U.S. immigration laws. I am one of the opponents of birthright citizenship.…

Do the so called “illegal immigrants” really deserve to be deported back to their homeland, especially when there are so many different opportunities in which they can benefit our nation? Immigration throughout the U.S. has been an issue for a couple of years now. The rate at which illegal immigrants coming over has dwindled down exponentially over those years too. Yet immigrants shouldn’t be deported just because they want to come over the border and begin a new start. Allowing them to stay and just getting rid of the criminals that have came over and caused problems for the society could benefit the nation. While doing my paper I discovered that illegal immigrants come from everywhere not just from cross the border, the government tax revenue, the increase in jobs from the extra tax money, and sending the problem immigrants back to their homelands.…
