Interview Reflection (Appendix 1):
The date of the interview that I had to do was on April 25, 2015. The person that I had decided to interview was my little sister named Meagan. She currently works at McDonald's as a server. While interviewing her, we talked about many things that goes on behind the scenes at McDonald's. We talked about all the hours that someone is capable of having and how much you can make doing overtime there. We also discussed the salary, when someone is needed to fill a position because they needed someone right then, what the different positions that someone can have at McDonald's, and the uniform that they have to wear. I learned many things about professional behavior and ethics in a professional

According to McDonald's, "Antimicrobial use in food animals is an issue that impacts people and animals" (2015). We have agreed in the United States that antibiotics have important benefits and they believe that a few changes will help in the reduction of their everyday use. According to McDonald's, "We are committing to use chicken that is not raised with antibiotics important to human medicine" (2015). For over two years, they have been working very closely with the farmers, whom they get their chicken from. It will hopefully be able to work in March 2017 in the United States for reducing the antibiotics that are going into the …show more content…
One of the issues that they have is when they have to turn away some of the pets that are given to them or they have to euthanize some of them. According to PETA, "When "no-kill" animal shelters and rescue groups are filled to capacity, which is almost always, they are left with two options: turn away more animals than they take in or warehouse animals, often in substandard, filthy, and severely crowded conditions, for weeks, months, or even years on end" (2015). Just too many animals are being given to the humane society because people like to buy a pet for Christmas and then they do not want it

In a model of a No Kill community, all private shelters manage their admissions much like human services do. They take in only as may pets they can care for with their entire donor dollars are going to be saving, not ending lives. According to one source, “In reality, every intuition has a capacity limit. If a hospital or domestic violence shelter has only 1,000 beds, they will not take in 2,000 people and kill the excess” (Moore). A No Kill shelter takes in pets to the crisis care and the worst cases first. When a family gives…

I sat down to interview my high school basketball coach over the break to see what it took and how long it took for him to get where he is today in the coaching world. It took him 5 years to get his bachelor degree in sports management from Oklahoma State University. Coach Thomlinson has been coaching for 8 years and teaching for 6, the first two year he started off coaching was an assistant coaching job at Oklahoma Christian University then moved to Luther High School for 4 years and finally moved to Bethel High School where he became my head coach. He is a basketball coach and teaches health wellness. A typical work day for him are the hours 730a.m to around 4p.m out of season and in season the hours consist of about 730a.m to around 10p.m, the in season works consists of practice, planning practice, teaching, game film, game film on opponents, strategizing, and of course coaching the actual games. Out of season work just consists of teaching, practice, and finding out on want we need to work on to get better. Out of season he has the whole evening off with the family and then most of the summer with the family other than that little bit of time that is taken up by summer basketball camps but when basketball season starts “my team becomes my family” Coach Thomlinson said. The dream job for me is of course Duke University he said jokingly, But in all seriousness the dream coaching job for me would just to have a great group of kids that are coachable and of course a winning record every ear wouldn’t hurt. The highest dollar check I could get now in high school basketball would just depend on what school I went to and what their budget is, but more than likely a coaching job in Texas for high school would pay more than a high school coaching job in Oklahoma. The pros of teaching and coaching are that you can make sure that your players are being more respectful in class, keeping up in their classes, and…

The assessment results come out that I am an “ESFJ” person and my Holland Interest Codes are “ASC”. During the assessment test I scored a 28 on artistic, a 25 on social, a 20 on conventional, an 18 on enterprising, a 9 on Realistic and a 5 on investigative. As you can see, some of my scores are really close together, however, the three that stood out are artistic, social and conventional. After reading all of the portraits, I would say I learn more about myself; however, there are some descriptions and points existed that are different with what I think about myself. Artistic people are people with artistic ability and appreciate making original work. They like dealing with ideas rather than things. I didn’t expect “A” as my highest code because I would say I enjoy dealing with things rather than ideas. The reason why “Artistic” has the most points is that probably I am interested in photograph and the test guides me to “A”. However, I just enjoy stopping along the way and shooting the…

So on April 10th I emailed her ten questions and on April 11th Mrs. Vezmar responded to them and sent them back to me. I used to go to Highland High School so when Mrs. Vezmar told me they were investing more money into providing more technology to their students I was excited. I asked how many students use the internet for their daily school life and She believed that many do and that Highland is working on providing personal tablets to all their students.
