In-N-Out Vs Restaurant
Walking into a restaurant and going into a fast food establishment can be similar in the sense of ordering food to eat. A person will not get the same experience eating at In-n-out as they would at Red Robin. When I was younger, I thought to myself that restaurants such as Red Robin cost more because a person got more food for their money. There is so much more than actually meets the eye that makes places that serve the same things so different. Upon walking into a Red Robin a person called a hostess greets the group and asks how many people are in the party. Based on the number of people that are in a group they may have to wait to be seated. When the hostess seats the party to a table, sometimes the table could be in the middle of the restaurant. …show more content…
When ordering your order is repeated back to you so the quality and efficiency of an order will come back to one 100% correct. To get an order can take from five-ten minutes sometimes fifteen if it’s during a peak time. A person doesn’t have to dress up to go get food for themselves and a person has choices on how to pick-up one’s order. Drinks may make or break a person’s day, especially if they order a Pepsi and find out that the establishment only serves Coke products. There is more of a variety of drinks to get at Red Robin for one to order with their meal. Server’s can serve alcoholic products to people who are at the legal drinking age, and the people can legally drink in the restaurant without any troubles. In-n-out a person is limited to non-alcoholic drinks such as Coke and coffee. Drinking alcoholic drinks on the premises can be illegal. Since they don’t have alcoholic products I can see where it could be a problem for the people who drink on a daily basis with dinner. but since you can also go thru the drive thru you can take it home and drink alcohol at the comfort of your own

Whataburger and Chick-Fil-A are both considered fast food restaurants, however, these two restaurants have a lot of differences such as the food, the cleanliness, and the service. Whataburger seems popular, but Chick-Fil-A provides the better choice. Looking at the foods on the menu reveals the first major difference between Whataburger and Chick-Fil-A. Whataburger offers mainly unhealthy beef burgers, and they serve deep fried chicken. Chick-Fil-A serves their famous chicken, grilled or lightly breaded. Cleanliness adds another difference between Whataburger and Chick-Fil-A. Whenever I go to Whataburger, it does not seem as clean as when I go to Chick-Fil-A. The last time I went to Whataburger, I noticed the seats, floors, and the drink station…

Even though I was a server at both Ryan’s and Macaroni Grill, the environment was very different. Ryan’s is a buffet and the customers didn’t need much service, while Macaroni Grill is a full service and customers needed a lot. Another difference between the two was the managers. At Ryan’s the managers was very disrespectful and inappropriate with the employees. Macaroni Grill however, had very friendly and respectful managers. On the other hand, employees were a big difference at each restaurant. Ryan’s had older and bossy employees, while Macaroni Grill had employees closer to my age and was very nice. Because of this, money was a problem. At Ryan’s I got to keep all of my tips but it was hard to get them sometimes. The bossy employees would…

Working in IN-N-OUT Burger, people were referred to as “associates” rather than employees or workers. As a family-run business, treating employees as family members make them feel more connected to the business. Snyder is always held their employees in high esteem, paying them higher salary than other fast-food competitors. The company’s benefit packages are also generous, which include vision, medical, and dental benefits for both part-time and full-time associates. Such treatment engenders loyalty from workers. All associates in IN-N-OUT were given opportunities to grow and expand within the business chain. “They have the lowest turnover rate in the fast food industry, which is notorious for turnover,” says Perman. “They say that the average manager’s tenure is 14 years, but they have managers who have been there 30 or 40 years.” The company stayed focused on “Keep it real simple, do one thing and do it the best you can.” Therefore, associates were given strict uniforms and were always prompted to smile to customers, which wasn’t hard because every employee was happy to be there. Snyder is also believed in paying for hard work. This is another way to reward employees who have put effort on doing their work and keep them motivated and do the best for the restaurants.…

What do you typically order when dining at McDonald’s or Wendy’s? When I am having a meal from either place, my favorite choice is a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and extra mayo. Sometimes, I may make it a combo and enjoy the greasy, salty french fries and an ice cold soft drink. Most of their customers often purchase the unhealthiest options because they feel as if that is what fast food is all about, right? Fortunately, it does not have to be that way. Fast food can be convenient and nutritious. Wendy’s and McDonald’s are both fast food restaurants, so they are alike in many ways. However, each one also possesses distinct characteristics that allow it to stand out from the rest of the fast food chains.
