Art is important in our lives because it can improve our creativity skills, embrace neural connections, builds fine motor skills, and develops problem-solving skills. Art expresses your sense of beauty; discover the nature perception; for satisfaction or to promote emotions. In addition, art provides people with learning experience that enhances their minds, heart, and bodies. Art can send a powerful message and express deep truths or thoughts. For example, the 9/11 memorial and museum showed all the devastating losses of people which gave me the perspective that we live in a broken world.…
Art is seen constantly in the world around us. Whether it’s from priceless pieces hanging at the museum to graffiti illegally tagged on a brick wall, art provides an enlightening experience for its viewers in intangible ways. Art contributes to mankind through enabling deeper emotions, stimulating thoughts, and exposing one to new perspectives or even changing one’s perspective. Through these contributions, art is able to fulfill humanity’s emotional and spiritual needs that as well foster a more open-minded and harmonious community.…
In many cases, the purpose of art is to convey a profound message about certain aspects of a society or establishment. Art is fairly successful in conveying a message since it comes in a plethora of forms that are often overlooked. All over the internet and social media, art continues to be spread through people who would not have much voice or impact if not for technology. It is nearly impossible to ignore the messages people are spreading when they are dedicated to expanding their idea essentially everywhere. When people evaluate art, they find that it resembles the lives that they and others live while exposing the problems associated with the world that they may have not been aware of. It is natural for people to want to better the world…
Art has a huge impact in making our lives endlessly rich. I can't imagine, only for a moment, a world without art in light of the fact that art have such an effect on design from our most loved features. Moreover, art invigorates distinctive parts of our brains to make us giggle or prompt us to uproar, with an entire range of feelings in the middle. Art also provides for us an approach to be inventive and convey what needs be. For some individuals, art is the whole reason they get up in the morning. You could say, art is something that makes us more mindful and balanced people. Then again, it is such an expansive piece of our regular lives that we might scarcely even stop to consider. Our shoes could be look as art, as well as our clothing. General all utilitarian configuration is art.…
It teaches children to make good choices. More likely to stay in school to pursue in the Arts (Kristen Engebretsen, Americans for the Arts). If a school did not have an art program they are more likely to be out on the streets causing chaos. But if that school did have a music program for example that student would most likely be at home and practicing. The Arts have many different perspectives. There are many different ways to see the world. One question can have many different answers (Kristen Engebretsen). Many different people look at the world differently; some people have the ability to convey that on paper or in music. It sheds a light on the view that they look at the world. When Tom went to the greeting to see the Mona Lisa, his family was at home sleeping. Everyone in the world was poor. They destroyed all the technology they had. But something in Tom was different than everybody else. He saw the beauty in the Mona Lisa when no one else did. When he came home his parents were not happy he left early in the morning to see the painting. “Someone kicked him. His brother, who had been left behind to work their little patch of ground.” (Ray Bradbury, “The Smile”, pg…
I believe that Arts education is an important part of every student’s education for many reasons. If it were up to me I would make art and/or music a one semester class or if students wanted too, a full year mandatory class and is required for you to graduate high school. In elementary schools, art or music was a fun class with no homework and easy assignments; I didn’t know anyone who didn’t like those classes. Having to take these classes again in high school would be a good thing for most students because it would be time for you to relax or help you get all your thoughts together again. Another reason why I think Arts education is important is because it will help students creativity, perseverance, non verbal communication skills, or a…
What is art? Can it be defined in any single painting, or sculpture? Is it even something that can be seen, or does it have to be experienced? The term “art” is so vague that it can be applied to almost anything, really. Mostly, however, art should be that which frees our imagination. It connects our conscious with our subconscious, putting into a visual form what we feel and think. It allows us to explore our inner self and fill that urge to understand our minds and our universe. Art helps us to see beyond the ordinary, to see what is in our hearts without being blinded by reality. When an artist creates a painting, it is not to create a picture; it is to create a feeling or mood. The purpose is to convey an emotion, and, it is hoped, to make the viewer experience that same emotion. The painting is really just the final result. Pablo Picasso once said “…the thing that counts, in painting, is the intention of the artist…What counts is what one wants to do, and not what one does… In the end what was important is the intention one had.”…
Art has always played an important part in our daily lives even if we might not realize it. Art can be used in many ways to affect people's minds over short or long periods of time. Art might be used to express a person's emotions or the past. However, art is not always straightforward. Meanings could be hidden under words and pencil marks that may not surface until later. Not everything makes sense instantly and even if it seems like it does new information could pop up at random times and change your ideas on everything. Art is one of the things that can have a different meaning for everyone and those meanings for the person could change at any time.…
We've had a fantastic eight weeks of delving into the study of the human experience. The use of art, music, literature, history, language, philosophy, and religion to document our experience in the world is something man has always done, and it's something we still do today. Understanding our human experience allows us to feel connected to those that came before us and those that are yet to come. As we've learned about the meaning, history, societal roles, and disciplines of each art form we've come to realize that they are connected because of our human experience, regardless of the time period, the people, or the culture, our experiences and the way we attempt to explain them connect us all. Academic and artistic contributions made throughout…
Art is a language. Art is a contradiction. It universally speaks for us and goes against two conflicting ideas people come up with. Art has its bad and good effects. This so happens to create various meanings towards art and how significant it turns out to be. The logic behind art's opposing sides is introduced in Oscar Wilde's "Preface" to The Picture of Dorain Gray Art, Plato's Republic VII, and Kenneth Koch's On Aesthetics. These authors show how simple and complicated art can get, which ends up creating contradictions for itself. Art is its own consequences where creativity lies because it expands the mind in different directions, whether in the light or dark path. It becomes our friend and our enemy, depending…
Art is beauty. Some people might not feel the emotion that the art is representing, however, some people might see the beauty that the art is expressing. Art is something important because it matters to our lives. The use of lines, shades, shapes and colors help us express our inner self and the hidden messages that we want others to know behinds the wall of arts. Our purposes, values, goals, visions and beliefs can be seen, feel through the creations of art; beauty.…
Art is everywhere. It is a creation of human imagination and artistic creativity. Art evokes emotion and recreate emotional state. Art is an interpretative leap not bound by the constraints of another person’s logic. Art can serve a variety of purposes in our society. The contribution of art to society can be evaluated through pragmatic philosophy. Art can bring awareness to people. It is a powerful means of presenting inner truth about human that cannot be expressed on any other way. In addition, art connects people by presenting an idea that everyone can relate to in a universal way. Most people from different part of this world communicate effectively and harmoniously by sharing their common interest particularly in music and dance. Many forms of art are practiced by almost all human cultures and can be regarded as one of the unique characteristics of a human being. In all societies today, the visual arts are intimately entwined with music, dance, ritual, and language (Morriss-Kay, 2009).…
There are many functions and purpose of art like for instance. The beauty of art most arties paint with their religion and or there believes rather if they are Catholic or Christen. Many artiest paint what they see, also painters paint with a certain design to these paintings. For example there will be a letter in a painting showing there artiest initial or of a loved one shadowing to a citrine side showing that this is his work like a signature.…
The world around us is all shaped by beauty. By the music we make and listen in a car, or at a concert or in our rooms or anywhere, the architecture of our buildings that make up cities, homes, and what is now considered “art,” everything we encounter basically in our everyday lives shapes the world we live in. Art also had the ability to redeem life by finding beauty in the worst, and darkest of times. That means that art can even help us accept death by showing it in a light and not as a dark and scary and a process that all life has to go through. Art helps us try and see that clearer and not from just one perspective. Art gives our human life meaning and can help make it worthwhile. Through the changing world and perspective of beautiful art, we are losing the value of beauty and because of it we might lose the meaning of life with it. Our new technology and fast going pace of life, and changing views that over time we will lose the true meaning of…
Art is a way of how to bestow our slumbering passions and emotions. It conveys deviant behavior of an artist. It clearly describes different types of mental agitations like loneliness, uncertainty, happiness, and restlessness.…
