Imperialization Of India Analysis
I am a British citizen currently living in India in 1890 and everything that you have done for India is making this place amazing. You have improved roads here to increase trade and product movement across the land. The soldiers here are doing their best to reduce theft and keep India in the best shape it can be. The western education that you have brought here really helps the people from Britain and the people native from here to become closer in knowledge. Also, the legal procedures promote equality and justice among the people here. The princes of India are starting to learn British education and are learning how we speak. It helps a lot with trading, communication, and the spread of new ideas. You also helped end slavery here as well as the caste system. The best things that you did here was to ban sati. The poor women were scared that they would have to kill themselves if their husband dies before them. It is great that they do not have to live in fear anymore. …show more content…
There have been more advancements such as the increased textile industries. People of India are also starting to grow cash crops so India can become wealthier and they can have more money to spend on more improvements in the cities. In conclusion, the Imperialization of India is a great success. People are happier, the people of India are making money through cash crops and through the textile industry. The roads and building are put up in better shape. You have gotten rid of the traditions that hurt women, so they do not have to live in fear.
