Abstract
This research primarily aims at investigating the impact of information technology in business strategies and in particular it will critically analyze the impact of PROPHIX software which is an IT application that has been integrated into the business strategy of YO! SUSHI restaurant. In order to enhance the reader’s understanding of the topic of discussion, the paper will elaborate more on business strategies in-conjunction with information technology. Secondly it will also explore the YO! SUSHI restaurant and how it has employed the use of PROPHIX software to gain a competitive advantage in Britain’s restaurant industry. In the conclusion the research is expected to assert that YO! SUSHI restaurant has gained a competitive advantage since it implemented information technology i.e. PROPHIX software in its business strategy.
