ICT AS letter Evaluation
Evaluation of a letter this documentation was produced specially to cordially invite a group of people within an organisation to the newly open resort park 'cypress valley'; in a professional manner. To make usr4e that my letter was accurate and flaunt I have used Microsoft word in this was it could help with the way my letter will be presented and delivered and during this work I have learnt how to use mail merge and interpretative this into my work in order for it to look professional.

I started of by putting together a basic foundation of a letter, the documentation can interoperated those simple necessities which are; the letter head customers address, my address, salutation to greet the addressee and the main body of the text plus closing it with a signature. After placing all of this I realised that the letter was missing a lot of things so I started by changing the font size cause it was too big and the information which was needed would not fit, my work would look unprofessional and overpowering. As I changed the font I also realised that the letter was missing the fundamental requirements of a letter as there was no complimentary closing or even the date under the address, without the date the organisation would not know when the letter was changes and it would be hard for the organisation to visit the theme park. I also decided to add the theme oarks logo to just to signify the theme park my first draft looked a bit messy so I decided to put things in boxes to to show the over view on the space each section will be used. After making theses numerous amendments my letter drastically needed to be more improved.

On draft 1 I had a simple layout, just boxes to show where I will be placing all the information. I have a two addresses showing where it’s from and where I’m going to send it too. I have an opening greeting to show that it’s a formal letter. Then I have the text box right under it. Then I have a closing for the message e.g. ‘yours

After the introduction part is finalized, now the first paragraph of your letter should come in as the second paragraph, though it needs some review. In this paragraph, you have generalized the response. Mrs. Smith’s concern is that the company’s products may also be harmful as the other companies in the same line of business as ours. Your response should therefore be more specific and be directed to our company in a clear way. In your response in this paragraph, you have talked about the materials used by landscaping companies instead of our company. It is quite clear that some landscaping companies are using harmful materials according to Mrs. Smith and so you should try and differentiate our company from the rest.…

The template that I might use for a business letter is the Business Letter Essential Design. This template sets up the structure of the business letter while allowing me to make the necessary changes to the document. The template allows me to place the company name at the top, in a letterhead if I choose to create or paste one in there. In the letterhead I can place the company logo and alter the colors or design if need be, kind of like how Google changes its header on the website. This would allow for more variation and the business letter could be viewed as playful (for work place picnics) or professional (for mandatory meetings). I could enhance a business letter using the features in MS Word by using photos appropriate to the business letter. Also I could structure the business letter with a page border and use colors that attract the eye of the reader. If I needed to present any numerical or other information that needs to be listed I could implement the use of a table in the business letter. For instance a table in a business letter can tell the workers who is bringing what food item to the work picnic, or it can tell a customer the cost of a product per pound bought.…
