Humorous Wedding Speech By A Successful Entrepreneur
Good afternoon to all Henry Gurney students. Let me start with introducing myself. My name is Miss Au Kar Mun and as of today, me and my other partner , Miss Vanessa, will be your motivational speakers for this session. Some of you may be feeling a sense of discouragement, losing hope towards your life or some may be wondering why would you be sitting in that chair because there is no hope. But let me tell you first that you are a person of worth, a person who could be a successful businessmen or a famous entrepreneur one day. It may seem an impossible dream or goal but you know, It is never too late to get back up again. Every challenge and adversity that you have to face during your duration in this school, will only make you a better and …show more content…
We may fail but this failure does not give us the excuse to get back up again. Let me quote what Winston Churchill said, "Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It is courage that counts ”. Courage is the ultimate step towards your dream and goal. See things and situations in a different perspective. Dont always look at one direction. That direction may just be one of those pessismistic roads which lead you to nowhere. Let me tell you a story. I have a friend who was actually send to this school few years back for trying to steal expensive cars and for bullying younger girls in school to the extend of nearly killing one of them . She was caught in the end for her wrongdoings. As devastated as she was, she was sent to this school. When I first knew her, she was a person with such determination and contentment that show in her actions. What could have caused her to turn into such? Because of some family issues, she turned into someone I barely knew. When she was in this school, she did everything to rebel against everyone that wanted to help her. She had a special talent that could be developed and used for her near future. It was having the mind of a business person. Her actual goal …show more content…
One day, reality strucked her when I went in to talk to her. Honestly I felt a sense of giving up in helping her. I gave her a reality check that led her to think in deep thoughts. Let me ask you, What have you done so far in this school to help yourself? Why are you wasting your time away by being discouraged when you can do something now in order to have a brighter future? And i told her this, “ No one can help you unless you help yourself ”. Right now, she is a very successful woman who owns a very big company in Hong Kong. Look, nothing is impossible to do or to achieve. You can be like her if you want to.When there is a will, there is always a way. Like I said earlier, it all starts with courage, and determination will follow you. Have a teachable heart who wants to learn everything about anything that could help you shape your future. Dont waste your time learning nothing in here. There are many values and moral that could be learned in here. Dont you want to become a better person and make your family proud? The one statement that my friend said before she left Malaysia, was this, ‘ be a change and be a difference in

I am contacting you to inform you of some issues that have I have been concerned with when it comes to Kami and her performance on the JV cheer team. First and foremost, I just want to let you know that it has been a pleasure working with Kami on our team. Kami brings a very energetic and infectious vibe to our team. She has grown tremendously as an individual and as an athlete. However, lately, it is that same energetic and infectious behavior that has become a distraction for the team, especially during our practices. Today, Kami and her team had to run three laps because she was laughing and talking during stunts. As you know as a longtime cheer parent, stunting is a time that has to be taken seriously, otherwise there is the potential for…

Ten years ago I joined the best supportive family anyone could ever ask for. When I came to Thurgood Marshall I was a shy little girl in her shell trying to find herself. I had low self`esteem and was always worried about what others had thought about me. Being in TMA and growing up with this family has helped me mentally and emotionally especially with the passing of my uncle which was a tough thing for me to get over.…

For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39). Even the most successful of people have failed at something at least once in their lives. Maybe consider though, that failure was what brought them back up to the best, hardest working person that they could be and it did not take long for them to retrieve what they had lost and made it ten times better!…

Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” You are not guaranteed to be successful so you must work hard to succeed. If you happen to fall along the way, get back up and try again; failure won’t kill you, it will only make you stronger. What counts the most is that you continue to do your absolute best even though there may be obstacles in your way. This can be seen in each of articles I read as well as in my own experience. Each person in the articles, and myself have had some sort of obstacle to overcome when it came to our education but we never gave up until we were where we wanted or needed to be. If we want to be successful and get a good education we must have determination, encouragement, and fulfillment.…

Good morning, I’m Alexandra Heminsley. I have run several marathons (five and counting) , but I was not always a runner. Today I’m here to talk to tell you that you as well can achieve your goals and tell you about how I achieved mine. In fact I never quite associated running with myself until in my thirties. My flatmate was a runner, and she would always come back from her runs with a certain glow, and I told her that I wished I could run like her.…

My ancestors came in my country of America in chains. Take a look at me now. One more look. Once again perhaps. I see Barack almost everyday, praying as a Muslim in the Oval Office and around the Beautiful House. Also, all the years we have knowing each other, he has been praying as a Christian as I am. I could not be more proud to say, if any Muslim or Christian leader in our wonderful nation, the United States of America, or around the world can run his or her country like he has been running for almost a decade, we will all be living with the Angels in heaven on Earth. But it wasn't easy, look at his gray hair. What we inherited first day we walked in until tonight, it sure wasn't easy. Forget about the odds that were against us, excluding for Oprah. Godly souls always have been showing themselves among their own kind in a gathering dropping…

At some point in our life we all have, everyone has been the outcast at least once. In my life I have seen the good decisions people make to be accepted and I have seen the dark side of it as well. New schools and new kids can mean making a lot of changes to try and fit in as I discovered with my best friend. Schools in different areas have very different groups of people and some people change a lot to fit in at that new school. That can mean some bad decisions at times and the loss of old friends as you become a new person. In order to fit in at this new school my friend made some very downhill choices with his life. It started with the occasional night of drinking or smoking. Next thing before any of us could do anything he had quit football and quit his job quit going to class for the most part. Spent most of his time either getting drunk or getting high with his new friends at his new school. Sometimes in the journey to be accepted something you forget about the places where you already a part of something and without realizing it you can throw a lot away. You can lose a lot in the process of trying to get somewhere else. He made new friends but in doing that he lost the family he had a work. He Went from an aspiring student with honours and a league mvp to being basically nothing. He no longer had any involvement with anything and he lost everything he had going for him. By the time he was seventeen he had woken up in jail four or five times and been to rehab twice with no success. Everyone who originally accepted him had given up including his family. He went from having everything he could want to having nothing in his life. That was his decisions though everyone in life will make decisions to get where they think they want to be as a person sometimes that is not a great place but there's nothing you can do if you aren't the one making the…

Therefore, no matter the goal you are trying to reach, always know failure comes with the enjoyment of success. If I felt like a failure after finding out I did not receive the opportunity to be accepted into the school, I would not have been able to push myself to become greater. Try and you shall succeed. If being successful or achieving a goal was easy; many people would be successful already. However, since being successful or achieving a goal takes a great deal of time and comes with failure; some people rather give up than keep on…

Things in life don’t always go according to plan. Especially in the life of a student, life can change in a blink of an eye. A family emergency or even a financial downfall can put a halt on successfully completing school and continuing with a career path. A few years ago my aunt had a difficult time raising her daughter as a single mother and an even harder time starting her college education. She knew that without an education she would be going nowhere. She relied on the support of her parents to get her through school. With all the homework, essays, and personal responsibilities she felt it was impossible to get her degree. After 5 years of perseverance she graduated from college and was able to get a high paying job to raise her daughter and put her through school. No matter how hard it gets, it takes perseverance to never give up on your goals and to achieve them one way or another. Along with perseverance, determination goes hand in hand on the road to…

One day at work, while peacefully eating lunch at the lawn of the UC Davis medical center on their lunch breaks, a boy met a girl. And not just any boy or any girl. But two of the most selfless, giving, caring people I have ever had the prviedge to meet. These two have matching souls and after so much giving back, they finally came to realize the gift they had in each other. Chris and his goofball sense of humor that makes his patients forget their troubles for a time, and his sultry, sassy, gorgeous little curly haired lady (seriously, those curls are to DIE for) who just makes you feel warm when she smiles, are a perfect match. The moment they both came to the same realization, it was a race to the alter to get their forever after party started. And rightfully so.…
