Human Impact On Cheetahs
There is estimated that there is around 7,000 to 10,000 Cheetahs that remain in the world. Back in the 19th century there was around 100,000 Cheetahs. That is a humongous difference through the years and that shows that Cheetahs have started to go endangered. I will be showing you how Cheetahs have been negatively affected by Human activity.
Throughout time Cheetahs have had many impacts on the world. It has impacted the ecosystem, for example Cheetahs feed all types of other animals like, beatles, vultures and other scavengers. The Cheetah leaves the remaining of the carcass so it feeds other animals in the ecosystem. Also habitat is extremely important because that is there home. They are mostly found in sub-saharan Africa and in eastern and southern African parks. You can find Cheetahs under trees and dry open grasslands where they can pick up speed and kill prey. Humans interfere in cheetah territory by harming them and their ability to find food. Going off of that last sentence, humans are taking most of their energy because they have to walk far distances to find food. Humans have also taken over there land, they kill Cheetahs for their fur and Cheetah cubs are captured and smuggled into countries like Asia where humans keep them as pets. On the other hand there are many ideas that we are trying to do to help. There has been many volunteering around communities that support to CCF fundraising activities. They also have a website for donations to stop them from being endangered. Even though there are many negative ways endangering Cheetahs, there are also positive ways to help
