How To Make Good Choices In Romeo And Juliet
The Effect of Choices on A Relationship In a relationship there comes a time when you will realize that love is not just not the only thing to keep you moving forward in a relationship.William Shakespeare wrote “Romeo and Juliet” which takes place in Verona. In the story, Romeo and Juliet are two ordinary teenagers that instantly fall in love without knowing the future outcome and taking risks without thinking. In Romeo and Juliet's love story, it is revealed that time and choices within a relationship can lead to fatal or deadly outcomes. Over the course of the play, Romeo falls deeper and deeper in love with Juliet which causes him to make irrational decisions. One example showing Romeo is somewhat in love with Juliet is when Romeo enters the Capulet ballroom and while at the Capulet party he spots Juliet. When he spots her he instantly falls in love with her looks but nothing more. Romeo states, “I’ll watch her place of stand, and touching hers, make blessed my rude hand. Did my heart love till now? Forswear it sight, For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night”(1.5.45). This quote demonstrates after one look at Juliet's beauty Romeo fell deeply in …show more content…
In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet love story its revealed how moments within a relationship can lead to disastrous outcomes. Romeo in the story loved Juliet but at the same time it was unclear because he moved on quickly from Rosaline and mostly admired her beauty. Whereas Juliet truly loved Romeo the whole time, for example when she stabs herself to rest in peace with her true love. These moments demonstrate her love for Romeo and reveals that she will do anything for anyone. When people choose to have a relationship, it is better to make decisions together and take time in the relationship because if you truly love someone you're willing to take every risk for that special
