How do you view your failures and how do they help you

In life people can view their failures in different ways. People who believe failures will hurt them will never really be successful in life because every time they fail they will get down on themselves and probably be depressed. Then there are other people who believe failures are learning from their mistakes and starting over. According to Thomas Jefferson “I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” I personally believe that you learn from the mistakes from your life and they can help you. They help you because with every mistake that we make, we discover more and more about ourselves, about who we are, about our limits, about our capabilities, about what we can and can’t do. They help us be more compassionate and more tolerant with others and ourselves. One thing making mistakes does for us is teaches us life lessons. Some of these life lessons. The moment we see out failures and mistakes not as failures and mistakes the more happier we are going to be in life. Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it’s a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from. ~ Al Franken Another thing mistakes teach us is to forgive others. We learn to forgive ourselves but at the same time we learn to understand that people make mistakes just like we do. We also learn that everyone makes mistakes and no one has to has perfection. "You can't undo anything you've already done, but you can face up to it. You can tell the truth. You can seek forgiveness. And let God do the rest." – unknown. Everyone should live without regrets. If you play your life safe you wont be able to do a lot of things that you wanted to. At the end of your life you may have regrets because you didn’t go and do them. People shouldn’t not do

For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39). In this article, they list different quotes from different people. Samuel Smiles, a 19th century Scottish author says, “We learn wisdom from failure much more than from success. We often discover what will do by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake never made a discovery.” His words are true in the way that most of the time, people make mistakes before big discoveries, while people who make 0 mistakes, make 0 discoveries. Martin Tupper, 19th century English writer, says, “Error is a hardy plant, it flourisheth in every soil.” He’s right. No matter where you look, you will see mistakes and error, just like you can find plants in a lot of…

The question of failure is, in fact, a success in itself. I frame my life knowing that every obstruction and challenge faced is just a lesson waiting to be learned. The circumstances that genuinely made me believe this philosophy happened when I began working at Chick-Fil-A. Starting my work at the offset of 16 I promised myself that I was going to prove to the management that I was going to progress to become one of the best. Throughout the years of working there I upheld my promise and worked my way up to become a Team Leader. The youngest Team leader ever to work at that Chick-Fil-A.…

In conclusion, Lewis Thomas was correct when expressing the reality of mistakes in life. Everything transforms from mistakes to successes. This is partially because people hate to be wrong. It frustrates them and makes them want to improve. By learning from past mistakes, the process of trial and error presents opportunities to achieve. However, achievement cannot be made without utilizing the key step of the process, which is the move taken after the mistake is made. Like Edison, people everywhere should learn from their mistakes and use them to channel…

Through the mistakes people make, I learn life's most valuable lessons. My friends understood my philosophy but they saw me as soulless for seeing people’s mistakes as good. As a child, I watched the mistakes my relatives made within their families, which caused their children to be taken into custody. Although I felt sorry for the family at the time, I made sure I used their mistakes to direct my path. I never would want my family to be at a continuous feud. To me, not making mistakes is the biggest mistake one can make. My parents, especially, made many errors that resulted in them not being as successful. Therefore, I dream to obtain a profitable career and live an accomplished life so I won't encounter the same potholes people around me fell…
