Student need to be successful. Most of the student do their homework at home because it is a comfortable place for homework, especially after school. However, most students are doing their homework while watching TV, using the internet, texting, and sometimes students just sit in their room doing whatever they want. I think parents should make a rest time after school, change the location of the TV, and then give a reward such as candy or money to motivate their children get excited about doing their homework.
I think it is important for the children to rest their brains and have a little fun after school. Then they can eat, baths, and later do homework. Also children can use this for watching TV for a little bit, then they might be ready to work on their homework. After this break parents should make sure that their children are doing their homework in quiet place. When students follow this rule can succeed at school.
The sounds and images on the television distract the students from studying. Doing homework with a lot of sounds in the room causes the students to not do their homework well. This problem can be controlled by changing the location of the TV set. A location in a far corner of the house where the set cannot be flicked on as soon as someone comes home and when it is out of range seems to limit television viewing. Carrying this to an extreme, some families have been known to keep their portable TV set in a closet to discourage casual viewing.
