How Stress Affects The Brain
Stress doesn’t just affect our brain. It also affects our physique, emotions, behavior, and mind. When you are feeling tense or stressed it can cause your body to have high blood pressure, lack of energy, increased heart rate, and more. It also increases your likelihood of getting heart disease, and even obtaining cancer. Stress can also cause you to feel frustration, not have a sense of humor, or feeling overwhelmed. It can also be the source of decreased contact with others, sense of loneliness, and poor work relations. Tension can also cause you to be more forgetful, confused, constant worry, and having a harder time concentrating. As you can see stress doesn’t just affect your thinking, but other aspects of your body too.
