When you are stressed in life it is because you are over thinking and you are not living the moment, you are just alive an functioning like a robot.

You could react to a situation positively and perceive it in a way that you will see the positive things and by that way you wont have to call yourself stressed.
Stress correlates to a lower risk of death. a lot of stress and a perception that stress has a big impact on health had an increased hazard ratio. (McGonigal).
Stress is basically how you perceive things. When you are stressed all the time, your chances of dying is higher.

I’ve learned in psychology that you can meditate to refresh yourself and keep things back on track. Meditation is also a safe and simple way to balance your physical, emotional, and mental state and more and more doctors are encouraging patients to practice meditation to cure many stress related illnesses. Everyday most of us experience stress in many different ways and I believe many people are simply not aware of how much stress we actually hold on to. One of the greatest positive effects of meditation is how it allows the body to distress.
