How Light Affect Our Planet:

Nowadays due to light pollution, it is hard to find a place in Hong Kong that can look at the stars clearly. It means that the light has disturbed our planet already; few types of animals can’t figure out that it’s morning or night. It affects the animal’s differentiation, communication and competition capacity. According to different problems, we must need to have some actions to help our society. There will be three different stages. First is to remembering turn off the light while the room doesn’t have any people; Second is asking your parents to change the light bulb to some low cost-efficiency bulb; Last is joining the event that created by the World Wide Front Of Nature(WWF) and it's called the Earth hour. First of all, people using light for several reasons such as getting people can see your advertisements; helping the people not to be walking into any dangerous place at the park and makes your home be warm. While you having this kind of process will use a lot of light but if we switching the lights off at the time that no one using it, since it will reduce the output of electricity, it can reduce the output of the carbon dioxide. So we need to have a good habit to help our society. Furthermore, there are several types of light bulb such as Incandescent, Halogen, Fluorescent, Compact Fluorescent Lamps, High-Intensity Discharge Lamps, and Light Emitting Diodes. The illumination and durability are really different. In the pastime, there are only incandescent bulbs but nowadays there are better technology, it helps us to using a low watt bulb, even the price of the LED bulb is expensive than the incandescent, since the LED light bulb has calculated for long-term use such as a half year, the average cost of LED bulb is lower than incandescent. According to the cost and the electricity will use, we might choose the low average cost light
