How Does Edvard Munch's Art Influence His Work?

Our creations are based upon inspiration, and that can come from anywhere. Sometimes, we are inspired by what happens to us in our lifetimes, we can be inspired by what we read, what we see, or we can be inspired by other people. Painters have a place where all their creativity and inspiration comes from, and sometimes that is painters from the past, and other times it comes from their own experiences and struggles.
Edvard Munch created one of the most well known paintings worldwide, titled The Scream, in 1983 (Edvard Munch). Munch was inspired by his emotions, and he created a series of about 22 paintings, called The Frieze Of Life, where his feelings were truly laying on canvas, some of those paintings are, The Sick Child, Jealousy, Anxiety, Melancholy, and Death In The Sickroom. Munch was inspired by his life experiences, and expressed himself through painting (Edvard Munch). Even after his death in 1944, Edvard Munch inspires many artists, and his paintings from The Frieze Of Life are his most famous pieces. She was born in 1929, and was entirely abstract with her painting. She was one of the first abstract painters in Norway (Inger Sitter). Sitter was successful from the start, she was accepted into the Academy of Arts in Oslo at age 15, and throughout her life she had a large impact on artistic politics, and she started a major abstract movement throughout Norway, inspiring young generations of artists to come (Inger Sitter). She was especially important for paving the way to non figurative painting. Some of her paintings are titled; Vår, Impositions, Hymne til Gala, and Terminator (Inger Sitter).
