STAFFING ISSUES IN THE HOTEL
Recruitment – The main functions of the HR department is recruiting well appropriate candidates. As the hotels will be coming under the four star category. The main task in hand for the HR department is to keep in mind that the employees they are recruiting should be well skilled and should match up the standards of the organisation.
Lack of motivation – The employees at the Courthouse hotel are not trained as per the standards of a four star hotel, they need to be motivated and trained because motivation helps to keep a positive mind and the hotel at the moment needs motivated employees to match the level of service and upgrade its standards.
Lack of training – The staff need to be trained well for the Up gradation of the hotel and to match up the standards and level of service of a four star category hotel. To match the standards of the hotel, Proper guidance towards learning skills is necessary (Miller et al, 1930-1999).
Lack of personal skills – To achieve the four star standards which is set by the hotel management. The communication and personal skills should be improved by the staff.
Shift/Time management – The hotel will now be known internationally because of international guests who come to stay. The staff
