Hope For Animals And Their World Analysis
At a young age Jane Goodall was fascinated by dinosaurs and used to imagine being back in the prehistoric era to explore the ancient landscape and the other dinosaurs. Most of the time in her childhood, Goodall spent most of her time reading books due to no internet or television. The books she enjoyed reading the most were different animals and the environment where she learned about animal endangerment and environmental destruction, like the extinction of the dodo birds who were eaten by Captain Cook and his shipmen. Goodall also couldn’t predict that many animals would end up being endangered due to human aspirations. Luckily, Goodall was able to meet some inspirational people who are trying to save the endangered species in the world. One of the first stories of “Hope for Animals and Their World: How Endangered Species Are Being Rescued” is the wild black footed ferret who is located mostly in North America from Canada to Mexico.

Fortunately, the prairie dogs were able to comeback from the decline in comparison to the black footed ferrets whose population decline has worsened. On September 26 1981, on the property of Lucille and John Hogg’s property a black footed ferret got killed by their dog. Lucille went to retrieve the area and she realized that it was a black footed ferret, soon a group of ferret experts came upon the area and observed it. In August 1985, the ferret population was just 58 compared to the 129 the previous summer numbers slowly dropped from 31 in October to just 16. Luckily, the future of the black footed ferret recovery plan was reintroduced to replenished the ferrets in the states in which they lived
