Hfc Reflection
HFHC serves patients that are below the 200% Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Patients below 133% FPL are Medicaid eligible, yet there are still others within the community that need access to affordable health care. Within our patient base, there are people who work full time, yet are below the 200% FPL. These people fall under the ALICE threshold, which stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, meaning that these people are working, yet are still struggling to make ends meet.
