Harriet Tubman is a remarkable woman, who suffered many hardships that developed her character. She was an extraordinary heroine, For example, Harriet Tubman began her adventurous life as a slave on a plantation. Additionally, with unbreakable determination Harriet Tubman used her strength to escape her plantation. Finally, Harriet Tubman spent years of her incredible life freeing slaves. Throughout Harriet Tubman’s life she accomplished enough honorable goals that would take most people a numerous amount of lifetimes to achieve. Harriet, who was once a passenger, became a legendary conductor. She was known far and wide by slaves and masters alike. Her popularity increased until she was known as Moses with the phrase “Live Free or Die”: she used this motto to restrain unruly slaves. Years went into creating near flawless plans, paths, and stopping points for runaway slaves; those who were traveling North into Canada. Harriet Tubman helped along with people such as, the magnificent William Still. Soon after, Harriet Tubman accumulated a record of helping over three hundred slaves escape to the North. In all the time Harriet Tubman escorted slaves she never lost a single slave to the grim reaper. Harriet Tubman lived to a ripe age considering the bounty on her head, injuries, and adventures.
