Harold Ramis Groundhog Day
For decades, Harold Ramis is known for being a director, actor, and writer for films that captivated the audience. In many ways, his films are known for being amusement and having strong relationships with his actors in his films. His highly known film, was in 1993 called Groundhog Day, the main actor Bill Murray plays a character named Phil Connors, a weatherman that gets stuck on the same day until he learns not to be selfish and falls in love. Danny Rubin who was the writer of the movie came up with a very unique story line that has a several creativity innovation techniques. Bill Murray played the protagonist named Phil, who is a weatherman on a local news channel who gets sent out to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to broadcast the groundhog appearance to see if there will be six more weeks of winter or if spring is on its way. An interesting fact about the film is it was not filmed in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania but in Woodstock, Illinois. Ramis wanted a place that similar looked like Punxsutawney, and after searching many towns, Woodstock met the criteria.
Murray plays a really good protagonist, in the movie Phil is known for being very selfish and makes many sarcastic remarks with his co-workers throughout the film. Also, his body language and dialogue toward others is mostly negative and unprofessional throughout the film, then towards the end of the film, he perspective starts to change. For example, the first time Phil die, in going off the cliff, his coworkers reacted to his dead with little emotions that come with having a friend who dies. He learns several lessons during each time he repeats that same day. During the first time Phil repeated that day, he thinks that he is going crazy, then a few more times he takes advantage with the women of the town. He learns that he can get away with anything and which leads to depression, having him kills himself several times. Afterward repeating the same day over and over, he starts working on himself by ready poetry, learning music, and shedding his disinterest from the world then eventually falls in love with Rita Hanson, played by Andie MacDowell (Goldberg,
