Gulf Coast Grill Experience Analysis
Last weekend, I went to Suwanee, GA to see my father and stepmother because it had recently been my stepmother's birthday. In celebration we chose to dine out at a restaurant called Gulf Coast Grill. It was the first time my family had eaten at the restaurant, but will not be the last. Once stepping inside, I knew it was going to be interesting because the restaurant had a very strong beach theme as well as a live band playing. After being told it was going to be a fifteen to twenty minute wait, I was surprised when our table was called after less than ten. The restaurant experience was already off to a good start, and only continued to get better. After being sat down at our booth, I was very quick to examine all of the possible meals on the menu. The menu had a large variety from burgers to po boys but was mainly focused around seafood and Louisiana style dishes such as the creole and etouffee entrees. After countless minutes of trying to decide on one thing from the menu that sounded so good; I ultimately decided on having the Shrimp Creole. Before getting the creole though, I got a Cesar …show more content…
The food was very flavorful as well as authentic to the Louisianan style that includes French and Spanish heritage, the only thing that I would change is that the food came out slightly hotter. The service and hospitality of the restaurant and its employees was one of the most polite and pleasant experiences I've had in a while. Not only did the employees treat their customer with high respect, but also their fellow coworkers. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed with a family friendly feel but also mature enough for a fully functioning bar. The live band was a very nice addition as well, although it could be a little quieter because of how small the restaurants size is and how the sound carries very well. All in all though, I had a great time and I very much look forward to my next visit to Gulf Coast

My overall impression of the restaurant was actually very good. I thought the food was excellent, with huge plates of it. The waiter was nice, and it was funny how sometimes she made me have to respond in Spanish. The atmosphere was happy, with great tropical-like decorations covering the restaurant. It wasn’t crowded or noisy, with the…

The first thing I noticed was how it was laid out. It was laid out in a way that nobody could resist eating from. The meal was set up in a buffet style, with many choices. I had chosen spaghetti with meat sauce, apple slices with caramel, and fresh vegetables. Next, I noticed that it was a happy environment, with laughing children and everyone was satisfied with the food. Good sign. After I had chosen what I wanted, then proceeded to sit down and eat. My tray had…

Many people are on lunch break and are rushing to get some delightful soul food before their break ends. The parking spaces are limited and the restaurant itself is relatively small, so come with only a few friends and make arranges to drive just maybe one vehicle if you intend to sit down and eat. You can also place your order to-go if you do not want to dine-in. Mostly every time I go, I always get my food to-go so I won’t have to witness the hectic crowd. The menu is straight forward, choose a meat and sides. The meat ranges from fried or baked chicken, fried or baked catfish, ribs, meatloaf, oxtails, neck bones, fried or baked pork chops, beef tips, shrimp, etc. Different sides include: lima beans, collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, macaroni, corn, yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, rice and gravy, peas, okra, etc. The food is provided on plastic trays, similar to grade school days, but the food served in those trays is beyond delicious from any of the food from grade school. The prices are very reasonable for the great amount of food they give you. You probably will spend just about $10.00 at the most on one meal, it all just depends on what you order. I have tried mostly all the food such as, the fried chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, pork chops, pasta, beef tips and rice, red beans and rice, peach cobbler, banana bread, pound cake, etc. Like I said before, the portions are very large, so you…

It's a long day at Phoenix College, I was exhausted and needed some sleep. I was also starving because I missed breakfast and didn't have any snacks throughout the day. So I eventually decided to go eat with my girlfriend due to my hunger and my need for company. My girlfriend and I went to Cane's Raising Chicken Finger further late that evening. When we got to the restaurant we rushed inside because it was furiously burning hot outside as we wanted to avoid the heat as much as possible. The restaurant politely greeted us as we walked up to the cashier. We began to order, our order was six chicken fingers, two Texas toasts, two sauces, a side of fries and a lemonade. Without assistance, we found a booth and sat down. It took a couple of…

My brother and I are always in the hunt for the best dessert place in town. When I found out that he discovered this specific dessert place in Downtown, San Diego, I got very excited to go and try it out. That same day my brother took me out to this restaurant called Extraordinary Desserts. When we got there, there was a long line of people standing outside waiting to order to-go and or to be seated at a table. The hostess told us the wait is going to be an hour, so we waited, since we both wholeheartedly enjoy eating desserts. The hostess finally called my name and the wait was totally worth it. Then we set foot in the restaurant, I felt stunned since the decoration was striking, lavish and was the proper place to celebrate desserts. I walked in the restaurant and I felt like a kid in a candy store. There were so many varieties from cakes to ice cream. Now, I know why this place is so busy and packed with people waiting just to satisfy their cravings. There were so many choices to choose from that I became indecisive on what I wanted to order; however, one dessert rose up to the occasion. I felt like heaven sent me a sign to pick the perfect one just for me.…

We arrived to the restaurant and everything in it looked fancy. The sights were all bright because of the illumination of the place; everything was sorrounded with colorful lamps with different shapes, there were autographed pictures of what appeared to be various local celebrities who had visited the restaurant, such as José Feliciano and Ednita Nazario, the tables were decorated with red and yellow roses, Dean Martin's lovable music was comming out of the restaurant's speakers and the smell of garlic frying in olive oil in the air gave me that sensation that only good Italian restaurants can give to a woman with a great taste like myself. As we walked in the host politely saluted us and asked my date if he had a reservation, to which he replied "yes", after checking my date's name and last name in a thick, old, black binder with Italy's flag and the restaurant's logo on its cover the host walked us to our table. The service was great, I can tell because only a few minutes after taking our seats the waiter was with our menus and offering us drinks. My date comfortably asked for the wine of the house, because apparently he already knew the place and he was eighteen years old, the legal drinking age in Puerto Rico, when the waiter turned to me and I got nervous, because at that time I never had a drink of alcohol in my life, not even a drop, so I…
