Garbage problems in industries
1. Industrial Waste: At present, tons of garbage is produced by each household each year. Items are recycled but not enough. The garbage of many companies is always handled individually. For example Car Companies make more cars because of the demand for a car. Leaving the old cars to the junkyard, and rarely it could be recycled but most of the times in just left there to rust.
2. Landfill: Is usually a big pile of garbage. That takes space in our country. The question is how much space we have left. Since America is growing our landfills has too. Expansion has caused the landfills to expand and making us run out of space. We will need a solution soon or our world will have a problem.
3. Facts: 7.6 billion tons of industrial solid waste each year. As a result the Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) has created a Standard Industrial Classification (SIC Codes) which cause the company to follow certain rules to dispose, and handle the wastes.
4. Just in Electronics in 2010, there was over 2.4 million tons of dispose of.
5. In 2012, there was over 3.4 million tons and numbers is expected to rise.
NOTES: Electronics consist in phones, computers, TVs and similarly.
1. In 2009, 34% of America’s overall waste was recycled. This means 161 million tons of materials were throw away. That averages around 3 pounds per person.
