Football Drill Research Paper
A dream I had since I was in fifth grade is to become a professional soccer player. Even though it’s a wild dream I still go after it, and even though if I don’t make it, I still have the fulfillment that I at least tried. This dream is harder than bending metal with your bare hands. But I will still try to make my dream come true even though how wild it is.

Things that I would need to do to make my dream come true. I would have to take it more serious and start listening to what my coaches tell me so that I can perfect any mistakes that I make in the game. With the advice that my coaches give me, I would practice by myself so that I can stop making the same mistake. I will always be humble and take everything that people say I'm good at doing in the

I would need drills that work your hips, reflects, and speed. Not surprising. I would need this type of drill because of my position as a center back, I always need to be changing my stance and moving my hips so I can have a faster reaction so that I can always take the ball from the opposing player. I would need speed so I can catch up to fast attacking players. With these drills I would be a better center back. Not surprising. So the coaches would be a great help, so I will need to let the soccer coaches coach me to become a better player. Another way that would help is watching videos of professional center back and the way they move in the game so that I can try to learn it and use it in the game to help me become a better player. I would have to see multiple video of center backs to see what they all have in common so that I can do the same. I would also need help from myself because I would need to strive to become a professional player and have it in me to become a unique player and not be like all the other players, so that I can stand out.And so on. I will be able to be noticed by the

The new rules in the National Football League are changing the way the game is being played and the way it affects the players. One of the many ways it affects the players is benefiting their health, and that’s why most of the new rules are added into the NFL. There is an average of 128 concussions per year and about nine concussions per week. There are positive ends and negative ends of the whole situation that can make the game boring for the players and also the spectators. This also makes the game safer for the players in their long-term life from their kids to their own health. The NFL could be changing for the better, or for the worse of it.…

his college football season, multiple players have been called out for targeting. The fact that not all of the officials calls have been correct is one of the main issues. According to the AFCA, (American Football Coaches Association) rule 9-1-3 states, “ No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul.” Many officials this year called targeting on players who were not following the outline of this rule. In the midst of the debate over our national morals, a key issue I wish for budding scholars to discuss is whether coaches should punish their players for kneeling during the national anthem. In my opinion, coaches have no right to “bench” their players for exercising their free speech; a liberty on which our nation was built. While it may be seen as disrespectful among the white majority of NFL coaches, to the players who fall victim to issues of police brutality and negligence by our current administration, they are using peaceful defiance to stand up for the lives they hold close. Who are we to criticize this resistance when it will eventually go down in history as martyrous? Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali, and countless other athletes are…

What sport do most Americans think of when imaging a tough, brutal sport where you have to be big and strong to play? Football, the sport of hitting people over a pigskin ball which leads to multiple concussions and other head trauma. A sport whose players are usually compared to big, bulky, jock who are never usually the person who has the highest GPA in their class. But, what most people don't realize is that Football is almost entirely a game of physics, angles, and probability with only a bit of strength. The first step to learning to play soccer is that you must be in top physical shape. It is like basketball, most of the players are tall. In soccer the same principle applies, you are constantly running up and down the field so your physique will greatly affect your skills. You must begin physical training at least two weeks prior to starting foot work. One of the best places to begin training is at a tropical beach. Running and exercising in the sand is said to be tougher than on firm ground. To maintain the best physique possible players must also have a healthy diet. Also, you should go to the gym and work your legs out because that is what you will mainly be using in soccer.…

It’s all about when I first step onto the field, the start of the game, the one moment, and my one chance to make the whole team look good. I make sure that my time in the game, with the ball at my feet, is not a wasted effort. During the game I play to the whistle that the referee blows and from on the sidelines, I can hear my coach yelling last minute moves that can get me around one obstacle or another. With my actions helping the team get a step closer to wining the game. So that after the game, I can walk away with a smile on my face and a trophy in my hand knowing I did my part. It makes it worth it to try my hardest in practice and drill each other to the point that no mistakes are possible. With everything I learn in practice I am able to apply it in the game, when it is my time to shine. In the end it makes the team better than any other team we will ever meet. When I am on the field it is as if nothing else matters because I am in another world where my coach, my team, and the ball are the only things that exist..…
