« The Coca-Cola Company » est une compagnie qui produit, distribue et vends des boissons non alcoolisées. La compagnie est le résultat direct de l’invention, en 1886 par le pharmacien John Syth Pemberton, de la boisson mondialement réputée coca-cola. La compagnie, dont le siège se trouve à Atlanta (état de la Géorgie), est aujourd’hui une multinationale de plus de 90 000 employés à plein temps et dont la valeur marchande est estimée à plus de 120 milliards de dollars US avec une marge de profit de 22.62%. L’action Coca-Cola Company (KO) se transige à environs 53.34$US. 2. Présentation des Produits de la compagnie
Avec un portfolio de plus de 3300 boissons (des produits diètes aux boissons régulières en passant par les jus de fruits à 100% et l’eau embouteillée) les produits coca-cola ont envahis le globe. La compagnie vend ses boissons sous principalement les noms Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta et Sprite. 3. Marché compétence
La compagnie vend ses produits principalement à des distributeurs et à des embouteilleurs et des propriétaires de fontaines. Les principaux compétiteurs de la compagnie sont Pepsico, Inc. Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. Groupe Danone World Water Division, Nestlé Waters, ITO EN, LTD, Red Bull GmbH et Cott Corporation, etc. 4. Géographie
Les produits Coca-Cola sont présents dans plus de 200 pays à travers le monde. La compagnie est présente sur les cinq continents mais elle réalise l’essentiel de ses profits en Amérique du nord.
