Criminology is a term that refers to any kind of study associated with crime and criminal justice. Feminist criminology in the late 1960 into the early 1970 was largely concerned with the victimization of women. The emergence of Feminism that sort the elimination of all forms of gender inequality in women lead to contemporary feminist criminologists, whose contributions have led to the modern understanding of women as victims, offenders and of their practice of the justice system.
