Family History Research Paper
Today, for the family history project I am writing an essay about my mother. I interviewed my mother and asked her many questions. First I asked her about her birth, then about her childhood, teenage, education, marriage and her work. She told me a lot about herself and I learned a lot of things that I didn’t know before. My mother’s name is Shah Gula. She was born to parents Shireen Zada Khan and Adalat Bibi on March 12, 1974 in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar, a province in Afghanistan. She had three siblings when she was born. These days there was no evolution. The houses were made of clay and stones. She used to live in a house made of stones, clay, and wood. Before her birth there was no electricity, but when she was born electricity reached the village. They had a telephone and a black and white television. Usually the rich people had the privileges like television, radio, and telephone. In Jalalabad, the rich people had their own farmlands. My family had their own farmlands too. There was the “seigneurial system”. The poor people rented the lands of the rich. They paid off the rent by giving the rich people a third of the crops they grew on the

It was an arranged marriage. They got married on September the 23rd, 1995. Her first baby was born on November 23”, 1996.He was born in Jalalabad too. My grandfather and father named my brother as “Usman Arbaz”. In March, 2000, my parents moved to Pakistan. On December 21st, 2000, I was born in Peshawar, Pakistan. We stayed in Swat for many years. On august 31st, 2003, my younger sister was born. In 2008, we moved to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. We had great education there. We were in private schools where we learned many subjects as well as English. My mother was a housewife. She helped us in every difficulties and problems. She supported us in our decisions. She raised us as properly as anyone would
