In Romeo and Juliet Juliet and Romeo should be able to freely express their love for each other regardless of their families feuding. In Romeo and Juliet the balcony scene starts off with Juliet thinking she is all alone until Romeo appears out of the darkness. What Juliet seems most concerned with is her family differences. Juliet is afraid of her family seeing Romeo outside and says “ If they do see thee, they will murder thee” (2.2.75). Romeo then replays to Juliet saying “ My life were better ended by their hate than death prorogued, wanting of my love” (2.2.82).
